I like the simplicity of the white buttons with the pinafore dress.My favourite is the white blouse,it just "goes"and made me say,wow! Have a special Christmas
I like the mustard with the pink - not a combination I would have considered together. I will now! The white buttons are very nice, but I’d also like the look of self covered buttons in some left over fabric. Happy Holidays!
Super idea! I made the skirt of this pattern but found it didn't overlap enough for me. That ones on the refashion pile! I do have some fabric that's been earmarked to make that pinafore since I first got the book so you very inspired me to scoot it up the queue. Thanks Mel

I love this dress the fit is amazing on you. I think I like the first blouse with the bow and the white blouse best. Some buttons that have a little more interest would be wonderful, but the white are nice too. It is quite Chanel or Dior vintage looking with the white I think. I still want to get that book, it’s been in my amazing cart a few times, but I put I saved for later to save money sadly. There are 3 things I really want to make from it and that pinafore is one of them. I kusum think it looks like a really interesting unique approach. I’m so glad you shared that! Hi Mel, I've been wondering about getting this book myself, but still unsure...need to check out all the patterns included. That's a lovely pinafore dress though and one I'd definitely wear if I was at work. I love the colour fabric you've used and it looks lovely with all those tops. I like it with the Bloomsbury blouse. Also I love your hair like this...it makes me want to cut mine back into a bob lol. Hope you've had a lovely Christmas xx

So beautiful! The different tops make it look casual or dressy. I now want a pinafore dress. I had thought they were too young for me. This one is very versitile. How do you care for the wool now? Always have wondered about that, with coats also.
Thankyou it’s very versatile. To be honest I machine washed this fabric in wool setting and it was fine. I also have a garment steamer so steam so don’t have to wash as often x
I've just watched the tutorial.It was very fast to follow and the music annoying.I did understand what they were doing but,I agree with you,there are simpler ways.
