I used Mario Nieto's "Harmony Bloom" VST inside Reaper to create a sequence of notes that I sent to 8 different sound designs in UVI Falcon.
I opted for E Minor and a probability of 35% on the notes in the sequence, other settings were kind of random but sounded good to my ears.
The 8 sounds you hear playing were all quickly made (in a few minutes each) inside of 8 programs in UVI Falcon. The base sounds were kept pretty simple as the heavy lifting would be done by a chain of audio effects like delay, reverb, chorus, granulators and other goodies on offer in Falcon.
Finally all the 8 sounds went through a compressor and Valhalla SuperMassive on the Master channel in Reaper.
And let me tell you: I haven't used Reaper for a year, and its speed compared to Ableton Live and Bitwig surprised me once again. Buy MOAR DAWs!
Don't dream of sounds.
Make them.
