@@SprDrumio64 I'm hard stuck on PS4 for the time being. While I'm aware of that extra hot bar you can get when using a controller, I've tried using it only to often misclick my skills. At this point it's just muscle memory
Thank you for all the support when it came to this video. Honestly kinda blown away with how many views this is getting considering how small of a channel I am and everything. Not sure when I will have another video like this up, perhaps next extreme that gets released. Ive not touched this fight yet but good to know its possible. After seeing a sch solo heal p6s and p7s, I think this is a good place to start with solo healing :rofl:

Im pretty sure they playtested this running min ilvl (so I assume the dungeon gear so... near 610?) And with a normal comp running around that level, everything hits hard, but go higher and everything hits like a pillow.
Surprisingly this isnt much faster than our 6dps althought it is faster, like 20 sec? I thought it would be 6:30 We have done a bunch of 710 715 with 6dps 1 drk and sch... Our rotation is a bit effy too, we couldve hit 7:00 probably?
...I feel concerned that I was shown this video of 1 SCH / 7 DPS clearing EX5, and was more impressed by the fact that you're on controller than the clear. Good controller players always blow me away. But I've always felt this fight, for an EX, did NOT do much damage.
I never liked the design of this boss. Of course I also didn't like some PF healers. Feels great dying to sweeping immolation when you did it mechanically correct, and that's with 2 healers! I have 106 totems, washed my hands of it.
Eh, people are just bad, the fight itself is a striking dummy with some mechanics. I actually liked the fight, since it lets you practice your rotation while doing mechanics, a nice improvement after the downtime fiesta of Barby.
i wish i wasnt such a burnout and i could do super intense stuff like this..i just cant focus with all this stuff going on. I literally have to take one fight at a time. I cannot go back to a hard fight and remember the mechanics anyways this was extremely insane and impressive..nice job...any particular reason you are not using the x hotbar?

Oh hey, I remember you healing a 1t1h party finder not too long ago! Really impressive that you got through it with 7 dps! :o Do you think maybe there's a chance to clear with 8 dps with some summoners/dancers/red mages (since they have some healing skills)?
Feel like the auto attacks would be too much, maybe if you pace out your HOT but that would mean SMN holding DPS and that kinda defeats the whole point. The other issue of a side possibly getting three enums or 2 stacks also pops up.
@@Lewd_Coffee There might be a way to flex the enums or stacks with some difficulty, but the auto attacks would be pretty annoying yeah. You could have some summoners running max spell speed to space out phoenixes a bit but you still have little control over it. Red mage could maybe handle it for a short time but then they'd also be doing nothing but spamming vercure
Good use of CDs on everyone’s part but if anything, this shows how flawed this EX is from a design standpoint. There is so much downtime where the boss is doing absolutely nothing. I’m sure this looks fun to do but it seems this type of thing gives people the wrong idea on how to be a good healer-I already see it in the comments. This may look impressive from the average player’s perspective but in actuality the 7 DPS have to have decent timing with their mitigations to pull this off.
Oh yeah this isn't me trying to be like "Hey Guys stop doing normal comp and just run this." More or less a proof that it does work in case my pf gets bored. Although 1 T 1H should become the norm since it doesn't ask too much of both the tank and the healer, more people seem to actually enjoy the farm as well from what I've heard as well.
Werent there runs of p1s and p2s with 8 tanks or something like that? Savage didnt get challenging until the 3rd floor,the first 2 floor is still around the level of extreme in difficulty
@@renjiabarai8470 yeah, i think there were some memegroups. And both p1s and p2s could be done with 1 tank and 1 healer as well I think. Though I am more sure of the former than the latter since I saw a post on reddit with someone explaining how the tb was handled.
@@Lewd_Coffee i think its pretty neat you guys did this, shows the how fun you guys are and the willing to try something new that isn't part of your ordinary routine.
With that logic, use a Dark knight, I'm assuming they needed a strong barrier healer to top up everyone's health and mitigate damage for the whole party.
Don't know how well I would trust that in a pf setting without causing grief lol That one mech with the spinning aoe and stack/spread debuff already causes enough grief for me that now I just save my pot tincture for that so I have a gigantic ass shield
I've seen some bad HUD layouts, but this one is just straight up cursed. Everything is miss-aligned, there's unnecessary padding all around the screen, scaling is extremely inconsistent, no WXHBs or even RTLT/LTRT bars, overlapping elements, camera tilt is set to 0 so you can barely see anything in front of you, the minimap is at the original position, smaller than normal, AND zoomed way out. Can't argue with results, but you could make your life/experience so much easier/better by putting a bit of love on that layout.
In defense of the group: A) It's pf B) Ilvl Is set only at 620 C) not sure about this party but at most, I usually only see two or three people potting at a time. I'm sure a static can actually easily make this somewhat better. But yeah, just running it with 1 H 1 T and 6 DPS is super safe and can get similar results
You literally just watched them clear the fight in 7:18, the fastest recorded kill in the world on FFLogs is 7:21 and this was an unorganised, undergeared PF group.
