I have been watching your channel for several years, I knew you both were from Michigan, my jaw dropped when i heard you say you were from Sandusky! Curious if you still have family here and if you have been back in a while. Lots have changed just like in the small town in Ga. you were describing. Can't wait to see the house build!
Wow! Another Cedar Pointer,...I mean Sanduskian. No family there. Haven't been back since 2015. I bet it has changed a lot. I always like the big old homes on Columbus and Wayne Streets. I hope they did something with the downtown area...could be so much fun down by the water.

We are in Monroe, MI for a few more days before we head west; actually headed to Sandusky Monday to visit a friend, and do some quick research into Janet’s ancestry. We are headed to Hiawasee for a few weeks in September … Octoberfest … perhaps we might bump into you folks in Helen.
Karen used to live on Gross Ile near Monroe, MI. And you probably heard on one of our videos that Karen grew up in Sandusky. We did the Hiawassee Octoberfest last year. We may cross paths.
Looks really nice! I always enjoy watching other people spend their money on construction projects. If I can think of any ways to make things more expensive, I'll chime in with my suggestions, which I expect you to implement immediately.
That was just one estimate I saw on line. I find it hard to believe it will get that populated because I don't think there is the infrastructure for it, but it is definitely growing.
The house is going to be beautiful Karen. It's obvious that you invested a lot of time in designing the floorplan. It's very well laid out. What is the square footage?
Great looking piece of property, I’ll bet that’s one hot and humid place in the summer months, we’ve always lived in Colorado so not at all use to humidity. We’re thinking of relocating away from snow too now that we’re retiring.
Liked looking at your wedding pics! Glad you guys are getting the house you want and it will be accessible, we are in the same stage of life where you do have to think about those things! The area we live in used to be a wonderful, friendly calm place but since we have lived here the population has exploded lots of pretty nasty people have moved here and clogged the roads so much I just dread having to go to the grocery store. We are thinking seriously about our retirement place and just want peace and quiet. We considered the full time RV thing as well but I don’t think that will work for health reasons but maybe a small one for small excursions will do we will have to see. Looking forward to seeing your house built you guys just seem like a lovely couple.

The cabin next to you for sale? We live in Florida and have been looking for places to move when retired? We RV too but not full time! Live on lake if you need a place to camp.

This is exciting , I can't wait to start watching this come together , you should maybe set up a time-lapse camera on site for days when activity is taking place. Now you've dangled the carrot at the end can I ask , is it reasonable to expect a weekly update on this project ? Can't wait to see more
I wish we weren't an hour away cuz we'd take more trips up there and I could do the time-lapse thing and just get more videos. So I won't be able to do that. I will have a few update videos in a row and then they will slow down as the project slows down to the detailed stuff.
