Excellent teaching style. Your videos are so informative, illustrative and easy to understand. I have watched many courses on different types of clauses but never before have I found a course as clear and explanatory as yours.
Hi, Arnel. I am a Brazilian english teacher! Love to learn more and more with you. Right now I am revisiting these subjects so I can take a public exam to get to be a public teacher here. You are the professor I enjoy more! Really good didactic. Keep the good work!
I can't thank you enough for this life-saving precisely explained lesson on the clauses. I myself am a teacher of English and an avid reader of grammar books but I couldn't quite find the topic covered. On RU-vid too I had difficulty getting a video on the topic. Eventually I found yours. Thank you.
I 'm frome Cambodia , 🇰🇭 and thank you, Arnel teacher, for building youtube teaching grammar in using the English language correct way foreigners students.

Amazing lesson many of your followers asked for a new video and it finally came out and what you teach will help many people learn a lot more hehehe changing the subject I graduated last Saturday😊🎓❤️
You’re a great teacher! I learned a lot from today’s lesson! I hope these clauses come in use. I want to remind you that I a new viewer of your video and I hope your channel grows!
Arnel Thank you for your good help in understanding types of clauses. It's appreciated so much. If adjectives use relative pronouns and adverbs use subordinating conjunctions to begin sentences ,what are words that "start" noun clauses as Who, What, and When followed by subject and verb called?
Hi Arnel! Disclaimer: English is not my native language. For me, you are the best teacher in English grammar that I've ever known. Do you have a book with a complete grammar teaching that I can buy. Due to work, sometimes reading is a better option than watching a video. If you don't have a book yet, can you recommend a grammar book with contents that teaches like you do?
please do a lesson on get with all its uses and meanings with lot of example sentences which is ofcourse your beautiful teaching style. need a long masterclass like this one. 🥰🥰🥳
Wow I've spent all of my energy for this course ha ha ... really confusing ... I dont think I completely understand all these clauses but surprisingly I got all the answers correct in all tests. Wow haha .. but I have to learn more about this cuz I feel still struggle with this. thank you so much for this mega course Arnel.
Respected Ma'am, being undisputedly the greatest grammarian of all time across the globe, you are earnestly entreated with folded hands to let me know which clauses the following sentences are -(A)It was yesterday when I met John (D)It was yesterday that I met John (C)It was last Saturday that I met John (D)It was last Saturday when I met John (E)It was August that he went to Paris(F)It was August when he went to Paris.Ma,am, do please enlighten me a bit by letting me know if the above sentences are Noun Clause, Adjective clause or Adverbial Clause. This is the kind of grammatical issue that has baffled so many grammarians and teachers so far because different teachers have answered differently, which has flummoxed me a lot.
You rule! Not to lessen faith in ESL teachers abroad but needed to use this to bone up on a lesson for Grade 6. By the way what path did you take to have this sort of ability to know and teach grammar? MA, Celta/Delta? Books?
Arnel I have a question...in this sentence: "you want this cup holder mounted on the left ..." why do we write mounted? I can't get the structure.. can we say be mounted or to mount? Why?...thanks🌹
Arnel please can you tell me about the reported speech verb forms in noun clause please I have an exam in sun and I can't understand this role please help me😢
I noticed that some examples in Adverb clause describe two actions in the past without using Past Perfect for the earlier action. Could you please make it clear?
That's a good observation. The past perfect isn't always necessary when the sequence of events is already clear. This can be if there are multiple past actions. For example: -I woke up, got dressed, ate breakfast, and left for work. Here the sequence is already clear. The sequence is in order. Words like "before" and "after" also make the sequence clear. The past perfect isn't always necessary, especially in a short sentence: -We bought groceries before the store closed. "had bought" isn't necessary. I hope this clarifies things!
@@ArnelsEverydayEnglish I came across this comment by chance and was able to find the answer I had been searching for ages. In a student’s book this is not clarified properly. Thank you so much, Arnel
