I think one of the differences between your Goku playthrough and IGN's is that they showed what happened if you partner with Piccolo and then defeat Raditz before Piccolo can charge the SBC.
"I played the final build " isn't the same thing as having everything unlocked. Maps are missing that has been already revealed if i am not mistaken. So more costumes and what not could be in the base game and just haven't been unlocked
@deviouschimp4663 I don't remember. I'm pretty sure the area where vegeta fights 18. And we got the other world tournament as a tournament but don't remember seeing it as a stage. I could've missed it, tho

Globtwo, you are absolutely wrong. Whis wasn't in Sparking mode, GT Goku was, and Whis auto dodged basic attacks and basic ki blasts while spending no ki.
@noxhypnos4553 It being in practice mode was pretty obvious to anyone who watched the video. Whis has an infinite auto dodge. Unless their is an option to toggle an infinite auto dodge.
You didn’t play the “final build” tho. Someone did a comparison showing the health bars in the “final build” didn’t have that animation effect whenever you take damage, unlike a previous build that had that. Also I’m sure there is a bunch of missing content still. Idk why you called it that in the title, I guess just for clicks

It's very interesting how even in the Canon storyline there's still What Ifs. I thought the only what ifs would be the branching paths like the Go with Piccolo or Go with Krillin choice.
Look back at Globku's video where he interviewed the RU-vidrs who went to the Summer Games Fest event. This was in June. I believe it was during his interview with AfroSenju where it was brought up that Sparking Zero has "Rock the Dragon" playing over its opening cinematic.

Surprised more people didn’t press him about problems; The game needs way more maps, 12 maps is just sad Audio needs to be way louder for Special Attacks Camera Shake needs to be added for Special Attacks Beams need to be made bigger Beam struggles dimension breaking should be Ultimate Exclusive More attack aftermath variety, cartoony smoke kinda gets old and doesn’t fit for stuff like the Spirit Bomb Also just a personal thing I noticed, where’d those orbital camera angles from big attacks go?? They added so much scale to the attacks Besides the map problem, most of these are forgivable/easily fixable, nothing to make me not buy the game but it’s not as perfect as everyone’s saying

@@time2e636 dont even worry about replying to this glazer man. Like no one can give the game any criticism at all with it being a problem. People like that are why we get less quality in games nowadays. We demand fixes and quality changes and they say that we should just accept what's already there because the developers said so. People are spending 70$-100$ for a sequel to one of the best dragon ball games of all time and they expect us to accept the bare minimum when BT3 didn't have map problems, didn't have problems with the beam struggles or beam size etc. Just because the game has better graphics and more characters doesn't necessarily mean it is a complete upgrade over BT3 as it should be.
So the Goku cutscene ending happens once you go to the canon version, but if you beat Raditz before Piccolo charges the special beam canon you get an alternate route off a canon event.
Glad SZ sticking to a universal base fighting mechanics with individuality added on versus staring from a place of uniqueness like FZ or Budokai. For original character fighting games makes sense but I like that I can jump in to any character and my core skill can carry me far versus in traditional fighting games it’s like a whole other game which is good and bad. With a roster this big, I don’t want a “main” but rather be able to use everyone without feeling punished. This approach matches series better and allows for more play while still being competitive to a certain extent.

Makes my blood boil to think how a game like Breakers which will obviously be 1000x less successful gets cross play but Sparking Zero and even Fighterz won’t. Out of those 52, he predicted 29 characters would be cut. That means he predicted 23 that ultimately would not be in the game.

@@ryanthecringeanimator9541 An interview confirmed that there are only 12 stages. It's clear to me that anything outside of DBZ manga canon and Super (excluding Beerus planet and Tournament of Destroyers) won't get any story significance. Even then still left out Mountain Road from Android Saga.
@YujiUedaFan they didn't confirm jack after lying about the roster size. They could be straight lying to not reveal *everything* before the official launch so that there will still be surprises during day 1
The beams should be small and have the curve tracking when doing the qjick activation of the move but as you charge the beam itll have less curving and more size. The max vharge will be a big beam probably 4x the normal but it'll have no curving at all.
@bananaman281 or acting like he played a version with unlocked outfits. They probably just unlocked character only and not the other outfits for them. I would be surprised if we don't get different color schemes for ssj4 and frieza
Is there a navigation trough the what if stories? Let me explain… if we have to replay the all story for a what if scenario that we didn’t get/want it will be extremely frustrating to really see all that the developers have created for us
What I really wanna know is what happens if two players run into each other in the offline tournament mode, since we can only play in the time chamber, will it just automatically choose the time chamber?
You hit the nail on the head regarding early access. It crazy to me that anyone would see this as anything other than paying to be a last minute stress tester of the game. They collect data from early access players before the launch weekend to give themselves a leg up on the following week. If you think this thing will be buggy on PS5, I can’t imagine what the PC version will be like at launch.
I don't particularly see the issue personally, I'm just paying for the early access Cause I want to play the game as soon as possible, if it means it'll be abit buggy for 3 days it's whatever I paid for it with that knowledge in mind so it's my cross to bare lol

Tenkaichi is definitely more of a fanboy game. If it's a competitive game it kind of defeats the purpose of making it a Tenkaichi game. Doesnt feel like a game for Globku's sensibilities.

That part about the 3 day early access. Made absolutely zero sense. Because if it is a bug version... then it'll be patched within 3 days. If not then we're all be playing a "buggy" version on the 11th.
In Budokai Tenkaichi 3, stages were unlocked in a lot of unique ways, which they might be continuing here. Some were through Dragon Ball wishes, some by winning tournaments, some by beating story modes, some by winning special fights. So there may be more than we've seen.
What I still don't get is "Are we allowed to stream it three days early too if we preordered?" Or do we have to wait? Couldn't find anything online and sometimes Developers do that kind of stuff only to then strike you. And I really don't want that to happen.
Nowadays a lot of games do 3 days early access when you get a "deluxe" edition or higher, you payed for it and everyone knows exactly what date the early access starts on. So I'm sure it should be fine to stream/record

it's trash. Imagine a racing game where all the cars are just on 1 screen with all liveries mixed up together instead of having liveries in a sub menu.
I wish character select was more themed(easier navigation) instead of having to scroll pages looking for a certain character I also would've liked the characters being static or when moving, the only the that changed is the model(its would've beeen cool to see Goku's tranformations side by side without them dropping down from the heavens) as great and expansive the game is, these are major design flaws in my opinion

If you want them to drop down or have some sort of intro "personality", that's what the beginning of the fight is for. Them dropping in in the most bland way(with exceptions like blue vegito instant transmission) during select feels weird. Again, personal opinion. Its not a game breaking bug, just aestetics.
most likely you get it with paid dlc. Preorder people get daima goku base early first, but his ssj forms will come via dlc.And most likely people who buy daima dlc will have base daima goku included.
This is already answered by the devs and no. You need to play the story to unlock characters, you can also buy them using zeni or wishing it on super shenron

The best way a.i. can be used is in large corporations to make things easier for the workers, which would alse make it cheaper as it would cut down on tedious computer work. But for us who can never afford to pay for something like visual effects artists, that would be where we can use it to make entire movies, because again, unlike corporations we don't have the money to spend.
So there are character archetypes tho? There’s obviously power characters who are slow and big dmg and defense , speed characters faster but less dmg and health.

I want to know how the transformations work. Like can u start at base, & transform multiple times like Goku & Vegeta did during the most recent Broly movie or are u transformed when the match starts??? Or do u only get 1 transformation a character?
You can start with the transformation or transformation during battle as many times as the character is able(Z Trunks SSJ 1 and then SSJ Buff form for ex).
Each character has different conditions for this. Vegito can go Super or instantly Blue, but GT Goku needs to go SSJ first before going to SSJ4. But yes, you can go Base to SSJ to God to Blue then back to Base
Will there be more stages? I can't seem to see footage of hell from the fusion reborn movie or kami's lookout as a stage besides the shenron wish menu....kind of concerning

you have to unlock them. Iirc you can get some through story mode, the shop and shenron. The shop interface for unlocking characters has been shown by someone and the devs confirmed you have to unlock characters
