Hubba Bubba was my favorite gum as a kid. I used to ask my dad to bring home a pack for me everyday on his way back from work. See that just brought back so many memories of those times. ❤😊

I loved and will always love cream chip beef. It is one of my favorite foods.

I love ambrosia salad but we never used mayonnaise we used fruit pecans whipped cream and cream cheese so good

I didn't realise this was a bot until it pronounced Gatorade correctly, yet stumbled over Gatorgum. Thankfully they corrected that in the second Gatorgum segment.

To me the only acceptable Jello "add ins" are fruit, mini marshmallows, and whipped cream / cool whip. I had relatives that liked to put coconut and or nuts in Jello that was tolerable but not something I thought was enjoyable.

I still make both pineapple upside down cake and Ambrosia salad.

NO JELL-O SALADS! EVER! I named my orange tabby cat "Tang", i miss my cat, but not Jell-o salads.

I didn't like the Jello salads but loved the creamed chip beef.

Tang is still made and sold in grocery stores. I have a canister of it now.

I never even tried ambrosia, but where i was in South Carolina, it was based on peeled orange pulp with the addition of coconut and other fruits.

I'm not an American, but any food related documentary is interesting to me!

Teaberry gum is delicious. I think they still sell it at Cracker Barrel

When i was little in the late 70's, we ate SOS. Except we had it with ground beef instead of corned beef. It was like a dinner version of sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast. And my favorite jello dish was cottage cheese, cool whip, a packet of jello, a can of pineapple and sliced fresh bananas, stir together and chill for a few hrs. Mmmmmm........I need to go to the store. 😋

Stouffers Cream Chipped Beef S.O.S was absolutely delicious if you don’t mind the textures and salt. My dad was a Vietnam vet. He loved it turned me on to it

Jello pudding pops were so good. I never thought of looking up the recipe and making them. Yep,,I’m going to do that right now.

Pineapple Upside Down Cake is still with us. They even sell a boxed cake mix of it in the grocery stores just like they do with the other cake mixes.

My maternal grandmother would make lime Jello with cream cheese/chopped walnuts) in the Jello, skip the nuts if you are allergic! You can also make it with strawberry Jello!

Watergate salad. A variation of Waldorf salad. It was chicken salad - or not - with a heavily mayonnaise dresssing on a chopped salad, and grapes or cubed green apples. Sometimes minced red onion in it. The cold broccoli salad was also a variation. But the mayonnaise dressing was cool whip.

I’m not sure if we want Jello salads back but we need Danish go rounds they would sell well now. I miss Zagnut Bars and Certs. And I really loved Quisp, it was my favorite cereal. ChocoLite looks like it is just an Aero bar which still exist.

My father, who fought in WW2 spoke of chipped beef on toast, so that dish has been around longer than 1960s. The men in the military called it by another name, which I cannot type on a RU-vid channel. (LOL) .

Never heard of a summit bar, dynamints, marathon bar, or teaberry gum. Some of this other stuff you can make yourself and is still made today. We have a version of ambrosia salad often. Has mandarin oranges, grapes, coconut flakes, and whipped cream. Not sure what else. But my fav salad is cherry pie filling, whipped cream, marshmallows, and condensed milk, I think that’s all. But jello shouldn’t have anything but fruit, marshmallows, and whipped cream. Nothing else should be added. I loved tang. Some of the comments say it’s still available but I haven’t seen it in stores since the 80s. Loved it as a kid tho. Sunny D is pretty close to tang tho.

As a kid in the early 1970s, Tang was my thang! Boy, did I drink a lot of that stuff. 😂

Bring back Koogle peanut butter, especially the vanilla & banana flavors.

NO jelly salads or any variation The Warldolf salad, tiuna casserole and chicken al a king.. made many times (variations are best) Dynamints are just TicTac's LOL Fondue has 3, oil/ cheese/ and chocolate Choco Lite is now Aero NeVER heard of Quisp... (BC, Chinada)

I love chipped beef on toast. Even more since you can get it frozen! I remember eating a big plate full before going fishing with my grandparents. Still have it if I'm going to it's be outside in the winter.

My all time favorite was a candy bar called butternut. Looked for them for years oh well no treat taste as good as the memory of it. All this food was a wonderful new taste for a lot of children, but sad to say it also was the start of obesity in the US

The spaghetti and meatballs I think it's okay just the meatballs seem chewy and I am afraid to bounce it on the floor 😂reveole it's ok the family size Salisbury steak I didn't tried it did take a long time to cook in the oven and I was The only one eating it 😭 and the meat has no taste or tight texture 😅so I ended up eating the whole thing 😭 hungry Men turkey dinner is not bed the turkey meat taste like real The real turkey breast 😅 side dish are okay but that jelly salad is first time I heard of it and it doesn't look good 😅 that sos I called it cream beef and a canned food called corn beef hash is little bit too salty for me and with me watch my diet too sweet or too salty are not for me 😭 but they taste good and convenient to prepare for meals 😅 but as I get older I need to watch my diet 😭
