A true gentleman should never insult something that someone loves (Even if someone is not a fan of it) when you realize this your are already one step closer to becoming a true gentleman
That’s so true...I once visited a German LaytonWicki where fans were so ambitious to create a whole timeline of the series only based on the fact that PLatLF plays in 1974 :)
Is incredible how a videogame can make me cry so easily. Layton’s saga won’t be the most famous one, but my childhood was based on it. Thanks Level 5 and Nintendo for these amazing stories...
last year was my last year of high school i was studying to enter the faculty of engineering and i swear i didnt listen to anything while studying other than the first 2 layton videos you made now Iam in college studying to become an engineer while listening to the third one..................thank you soooo much and keep up the good work
Professor Layton was one of those games where it was the literal embodiment of a safe space for me. I was not good at the puzzles but when I was actually able to solve one on my own, boy was it enthralling. It was also one of those where the soundtrack did a HUGE number on how the gameplay felt in general. As I binged all of the PL series on youtube one day, I cried laughed gasped in shock and in amazement and all those emotions gave me strength to withstand whatever hardships I was going through at the time, unknowingly so. It will forever be a series that is etched into my heart and I'm so excited for The New World of Steam coming out this year!
Love this! The Mystery Journey soundtrack is so upbeat and happy, and it really keeps you from getting overwhelmed by an assignment or an upcoming test... Thank you so much for making this!
Agree 100%, it's pretty difficult to find songs that actually can embody a thing or a situation with such precision, it requires a lot of skill so it was a beautiful surprise the first time i heard it
I always come back to this channel every once in awhile to see how the Layton fandom is doing. Happy to see that the community is as nice as ever! Here's to Layton in Smash someday
Layton's music has some of the greatest soundtracks in the videogame world. Perfect for relaxing and studying Also we need more Mystery Room games, come on Level 5, it's been 6 years...
This is literally too much for me. I can´t. I´m crying. This is my childhood and i´m proud of it. PL will always be in my heart. P.D. 1:04:44 Puzzle Theme. Call me nuts, but this song is absolutely perfect.
I'm honestly gonna cry. Knowing that there might be a switch port for curious village on the way is one of the most amazing things ever. This series is such a big part of my life and I can't wait for more people to be able to experience it!!
YOU MADE ANOTHER ONE OF THESE OMG thank you so much I always love your VG playlists they help me a lot to study... And I'm certainly not complaining that you made another one from Layton ! 😄
Got a friend into PL recently (dude is blasting through the games) which made me nostalgic for it as well as he narrated his adventures and reactions. Looked up the soundtrack to listen at work and I've been looping between the 3 videos for two weeks now haha
I wasn't expecting this , what a nice surprise. Just in time for Christmas, sitting in front of a fireplace drinking hot tea while listening to this. Thank you, ImagineBaggins!
I don't know if you finally picked it up in the meantime, but if not, I highly recommend Mystery Journey! It's more episodic in nature than the main games, but as long as you enjoy it, that's all that matters!
I'm furious---i love professor Layton, i love every Characters and the entire series but please---why can't they go on with Layton, i mean just him or his brother? or even his father? why can't he have a family reunion? Or Luke trilogy, etc. I don't hate Kat or Alfrendi but but----i just don't understand... And what i'm furious the most is Claire. I know that she is dead but why can't she have more flashbacks with Layton? She is the major character that has minimum information and dialogue and only appears in Lost Future. Anyway, i still want to see Professor Layton anime's adaptation.
still 1 episode left and we know how the Professor Layton's adaptation ends. Ow man have you already seen episode 49? (Spoilers) I really liked the conversation between Luke, Sherl and Ernest but can't they have more conversations like that, I mean, I really want a conversation between Emmy, Flora, Lucy, Katrielle, Marina and Arianna or something else
@@mer2837 Have you seen episode 50? I've been scouring the internet for any upcoming games or shows because first of all, not everything was solved, and second of all, that ending! That can't be the end. Also, I was hoping for Descole to reappear because I thought that would be pretty interesting. I was also hoping for Emmy because she just left at the end of Azran Legacy... what happened to her now?
yeah, i really hoped Layton & Descole would have had something like a family reunion... This would be interesting to see. And i definitely need more Luke/Layton interaction. Maybe we should start a petition to let Level 5 know what the fans want xD
I always get goosebumps whenever I hear the main theme from Mystery Journey. Not just from the sheer awesomeness of the track itself, but from the fact that even though it's still a bunch of episodic subplots it still manages to be just as wild as Hershel's saga as well as from me being kinda biased towards Mystery Journey due to the Switch port being my first Layton game
For the Dark Forest track, it's the one used in Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright, which remastered a lot of PL soundtracks in a more orchestral way, the result being absolutely GORGEOUS!! Also, I HIGHLY recommend the orchestrated arrangements of some of Layton tracks, you can easily find them, I know there's some playlists on youtube ;) Enjoy !! Your ears and nostalgia feelings will thank me haha
@@thomasc.4767 Thanks for the info! As someone who got into this series SUPER LATE (as in a few months ago) this music is somehow strangely nostalgic after hearing it once!
@@calidee847 Oh, and do you like the series? As for me, I began to play it with the first episode, back in 2007 I think (God, time flies)! I remember waiting for each game to be released year after year! And now it has become my favourite series of all times :D Yeah the first games and their music have this nostalgic vibe that never grows old! Aaah the feelings and memories come back all at once...
@@thomasc.4767 I LOVE this game series! I remember seeing these game when they were released, but I'm not the greatest with puzzles, so it wasn't a priority. I finally decided to try one for inspiration for the novel I'm writing; I figured there's the internet in case I got stuck. :P I was completely blown away by the amazing music and the lovable characters, pretty much an instant fan. Though I didn't know there was an order the games came in; Miracle Mask was my first and the ending was a bit confusing. LOL
@@calidee847 Hahaha welcome in the fandom! Yes, some puzzles may be tricky, but the stories and music largely compensate for it! Ah well I would play the games in the order they were released, so that you see the evolution and understand all the references (besides, Spectre's Call, the film the Eternal Diva, Miracle Mask and the Azran Legacy are all part of a large story, so I guess it'll be less confusing if you do all of them in the order ;) )
I was HOPING Mystery Room would be in here! Glad to see it wasn't forgotten! Btw, if anyone who reads this hasn't, you totally should play it; it's fan-fucking-tastic.
i want all three videos to be the soundtrack of everyday they all make me forget about the stress and just god it brings back so many memories, all games were awesome🥺🤧
