Aliens swarm a human ship and radio “surrender humans, you are outnumbered. We have the advantage.” Only to receive a tried and true human response that leaves them baffled right up until the insane charge of a human ship……”nuts”.
Fun fact:this is a reference to IRL history. During the liberation of bastogne american paratroopers literally shouted "NUTS!" when the germans demanded surrender.
A very unexpected, and very pleasant surprise when I realized the narrator was an actual human, and not an A-I! I then read the comment that the story was written by a human, and in fact, most everything concerning the story was done by humans. BRAVO!! The narrator took a great story and did a simply MAGNIFICENT job of introducing emotion as well as different personalities into the narrative, including dazed, scared or frantic breathlessness, irritated dismissiveness, disgust, warm pride, anger, defiant fury, fearful alertness, ect. as appropriate. Far, far superior to ANY A-I that I ever heard! A captivating story, and a very, very enjoyable rendition! Thank You! P.S. I would love to hear this storyline continued please.
The pieces were not back together and the healing not co.plete. nothing like outrage. Even the ordinary can become extraordinary. Great story. Warts and all, humanity stumbles forward. Thanks. Good narration. Thanks for other than a penny dreadful.
"Not sleak warships, but a swarm of enraged hornets with retrofitted weapons and vengence." Oh, my! Description, action, emotion, and determination in a single sentence. Nicely done!
I clicked this 100% expecting more AI reading garbage. But you did a great job. This was a good story, so kudos to the author as well! Great job! Edit: just saw you are also listed as the author, so double good job!
It's a great story with a great lesson... one that is the harbinger of the disaster that faces us today, but without the defiant fighting the relentless battle against today's megacorporations, who, in the end, may well very well win the battle, if not by enslaving all of humanity, but certainly with the war of attrition embedded in the censorship of those yearning for freedom, yearning to tell the truth, but ultimately silenced by the overarching power of the evils of corporatism.
Nice, one of the few stories where humanity is not the utopian united species. There are others where they are not united, but they are depicted way too optimistically.
Really good story, excellently read 👏👏👏👍 The story has so many parallels with today's modern politics, I just hope that someone can do what Marcus achieved 😥🤞
quick question, is this an AI generated story or not? either way it's quite nice. I'm guessing it's most likely AI generated, looking at the immense video upload ratio, so i am quite fascinated that AI can even so such a thing.
As someone who has used chat gpt as a game master in d&d I can tell you they arent that creative they give you great descriptions but when it comes to creating a story they got about 2-3 ways they present ideas no matter who prompt you use
