Thanks for exposè. I'm excited how languages are related. I can see "shalom" root in Solomon or Shlomo. The same is in Kiswahili as "salama" ie as adjective 'safe' or noun 'safety'. It's also 'usalama' for the latter. Really languages are God-created.
Mr. Heitzig, I enjoyed your lively presentation. May I ask two questions about vs. 16-28? 1. By what wisdom was Solomon sure that the lying prostitute (who'd been saying that she wanted "her" baby) would suddenly change her appeal to "Go ahead, kill my baby"? Why was Solomon sure that she would not respond at vs. 26 by saying "Well yes, now that you're finally offering my baby to me, of course, I will take it"? 2. Since the soldier of vs. 25 was likely aware that Saul had lost his kingship for hesitating to carry out Samuel's command to kill all the Amalekites (including the babies), why did he hesitate to carry out Solomon’s command to cut the baby in two?

Why is it that the Bible has more verses or words about people, their lives, places, battles or wars, than about Jesus Christ teachings and what Jesus Christ did for humans, heaven and the eternal life in heaven?
Keep studying and you’ll see Jesus in every chapter of every verse. We HUMANS identify with humans, meaning there’s a comfort in knowing others experienced the same things we do, made the same mistakes, had the same victories, and we can see how the Lord delivered, healed or led them through. The Bible was inspired by God for our benefit and most importantly, to teach how those humans worship God, and why human MUST worship God
ARE HEATHEN ORDAINED TO PREACH? (Romans 3:1-2) What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto THEM were committed the ORACLES(word) of God (Amos 2:11) And I raised up of YOUR SONS for PROPHETS, and of YOUR young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye CHILDREN OF ISRAEL? saith the Lord (Amos 3:7) Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his SERVANTS the prophets (Deuteronomy 29:29) The SECRET things belong unto the Lord OUR God: but those things which are revealed belong UNTO US and to OUR children FOREVER (Psalm 147:19-20) He sheweth his WORD(bible) unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto ISRAEL he hath NOT DEALT so with ANY NATION: and as for his judgments, they have not known them.
