I’m traveling to Cabo verde next year with my husband. I’m trying to learn his language so I can better communicate with his family here and back in CV. Thank you for this ❤️
Ik heb al je postes gezien en vind ze erg leuk, ik hoop dat er nog volgen, ik wil graag een woordje kunnen wisselen met de locale bevolking als ik volgende keer naar São Vincente ga. Dankjewel

@@lishaleach hello and welcome. Me too, I am always amazed to hear other people speak different languages and have no clue to what they are saying 😂. I am trying to learn another language myself, thank you so much for watching, hope it helps you learn it. 🇨🇻❤️
boa tarde, we are traveling to boa vista in december and january and i always learn a little bit of the native language or the dialect of the place im traveling to... just out of respect for the people who have to deal with us strangers... and i love it when they light up and realize it... this is the best moment...
Hello! Thank you for doing this… My mother is THE ONLY Cape Verdean I know, and she left Cape Verde at a young age to live in Senegal. So she lost her Creole for French. I know nothing of my heritage, and I’m in pursuit of learning it on my own to hopefully give my kids some of the culture. So, thank you for giving me something to start with!
Welcome to my channel, I hope my videos help you with the language. Let me know of anything you want to learn! I will upload more, don’t forget to subscribe! ❤️🇨🇻
Going Cabo verde this summer, I slightly know how to speak and understand creole but I want to better understand my family in and out of the u.s, thanks for the help!!

It reminds me a bit of Papiamento which is spoken in Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire. Bon Dia and Bon tardi are the same. Bo ta papia Ingles? (Do you speak English). Di nada (you're welcome). They're very similar.
