March 31st, 2013. #1 Seed Louisville Cardinals vs. #2 Seed Duke Blue Devils in the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament. Kevin Ware injury has been removed from this video.
Rick, thank you so much for so many great years. I hate that people refuse to give him his due. He gave us every ounce of what he had. I think he was doing his best coaching of his career.
The Kevin ware injury scared me for life 😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨
57:14 At this point in the game, it is a 42-42 tie. From here, the Cardinals went on an insane run where they scored on 9 of the next 10 possessions, went 9/11 from the field, and scored 20 points. In this same stretch, Duke went 0/10 from the field and scored 4 points, all from the foul line. This, gourds and gals, is the BOOM Coach K. was talking about.
As a diehard UK fan , I remember when you had your first season at UK when they got off probation. I was heartbroken when the shot heard round the world hit nothing but net at The Spectrum in 92. Sat court side in Minneapolis in 96 watching your Uk team obliterate Utah/Keith Van Horn and then Wake Forest/Tim Duncan, which led us to the final four and a national championship. Heartbroken when you left to the NBA. Loved the rivalry when you coached U of L. This was a great team here. It was classical Rick Pitino basketball. Now I’m looking forward to see what you can do at St. Johns. I would be willing to bet that in two years St. Johns will be making the headline and cutting down some nets. Always a fan, keep it up Coach P.
Also of note, the Michigan title matchup tags back to when the 1993 Kentucky team lost in the Final Four to the Fab Five in addition to the 2005 Elite 8 against West Virginia (then coached by John Beilein).
It was a nasty break. You could see the whole thing live if you were looking for it. (I've got the recording. No, I'm not uploading it.) Thing is, they replayed it 3 times. I don't know if the studio realized how bad it was... they should have and not replayed it at all. Youch! Coach Pitino got a good look at it, immediately throws his hands up for the medical staff. Thankfully, the snap couldn't be heard on the TV, but the players certainly heard it, because Duke's Thornton certainly reacted quickly to it.
Should try giving it another shot. Just google how to do it without getting flagged for it and stuff. I've never had too many issues. I know tons of people who would love to see those games.
Do you mean the game that was played November, 2012 without Dieng due to a broken wrist? Irrelevant - when Louisville had a full team they were clearly the better team - ask coach K
Dwayne Louis damn no wonder you said 😂😂😂😂 cause he a Cardinal fan 🤣🤣🤣🤣 where Rick at? Look at the full video and let’s see if you wanna run your mouth cause I seen some fouls not a duke fan or a Louisville fan but I seen some fouls. But whatever helps your dumbass sleep at night
Refs didn’t called 7 fouls Louisville made on Duke, some of them was shooting fouls, and reaching fouls, and Louisville still would of won this game Luke Hancock fouls Seth Curry at 57:11 Chane Behanan fouls Ryan Kelly at 58:26 Russ Smith fouls Ryan Kelly at 59:44 Luke Hancock fouls Seth Curry at 1:05:34 Peyton Siva fouls Quinn Cook at 1:05:39 Tim Henderson fouls Quinn Cook at 1:14:45 Chane Behanan fouls Ryan Kelly at 1:29:57
Dwayne Louis WHATS so funny? Honestly he is right. Laugh if you want, prove him wrong than, the fouls are right in this video and proves that Louisville stolen this game 🤣🤣
