Lewis inspires me as well because he is able to take action, be vulnerable and allow himself to be seen while he describes his growth. I don’t know, Lewis. I’m 16 mins in and I have a trigger about what she said. I have 5 pillars when it comes to relationships: Spiritual, emotional, mental, physical and financial connection (in that order.) I don’t think that’s too much to ask for. Yes, I want to be seen, understood, heard and respected by my partner. If not, then what are we doing?
But you do realize that these are new set of requirements people historically didn’t have and as a modern phenomena it puts too much pressure on individuals wanting to form union- unless we make a copy of ourselves.
@@natalic6088 I do. I also understand in the past it was more of a transactional agreement. Women needed security. Men wanted to have their name carried out. It was superficial. Welcome to the new age.
I totally agree with you. However as we meet men nowadays you would see that only 10% or maybe less can deliver these essential pillars. Most of us are emotionally incapable of healthy relationship with all these traumas this new age created. Most women and men are also suffering from mental issues in one way or another; it is very challenging. Happy for those who have found these pillars on their relationships. Praying that all women can find one. ❤

1. Why is poking fun at men always humorous to an audience? Especially something as corny as "men take what they can get". Yes, thats the reality of your average men. If this was a guy on stage who said "Women aren't very good at thinking logically", the audience wouldn't have laughed and in fact probably would've been booed and labeled a misogynist. It's bad form unless it can be applied equally. Maybe that should be a topic you cover? 2. Men have been saying for YEARS what she said about monogamy and have lost jobs, careers, and even platforms over this. RU-vid has demonetized several over this very subject. 3. This info is incredibly basic, to me. The fact people are amazed by it tells me that I need to get into the guru, write a book, write a course, start coaching, hustle.😂
