1ArtHenry I have a feeling that he meant the place Timbuktu because it's known for being the opposite of a fertile place. It's possible it was meant to be a double entendre though
this is the best channel that reactions to rap videos because they actually pay attention to the lyrics and make comments rather than just bobbing their head to the beat.
Sean Goonasekera Flight reactions doesn't get in depth in the lyrics like them, or atleast from what I've seen he doesnt all i see is him sticking his tongue out every 2 seconds.
For real, these guys are probably the smartest hip hop reaction peeps on RU-vid and they don't fake reactions, they genuinely get hype when it deserves it.

They just picked up on all of the shit people pointed out on Reddit (/r/hiphopheads). It's like they read all the comments, paused it at all the parts people pointed out in the comments, and reacted to it. Not that impressive, IMO. I noticed they didn't pick up on most of the witty lines like the Kevin Kostner reference, the shots at himself when he said "if you didn't write your own shit you got dismissed, been through that" because he got called out for using other people's lyrics in a battle, "toms hanks replacement", missed the part at the start where he talks about his tattoos, he didn't understand the poppy seeds reference (he thought Shia was talking about fucking poppy seeds on bagels, but he was really talking about Heroin, which is made from poppy seeds. LOL), didn't catch the "cup runneth over" line with is a reference from the hebrew bible (shia is jewish), he didn't actually know who Kurt Loder is and didn't realize sway and Loder worked for MTV back in the day, didn't catch the "white oak" reference at the start, didn't catch the meme reference at the start (reference to the JUST DO IT meme), didn't actually understand the lil boat diss (basically asked where the real rappers went, then took shots at rappers like lil boat since they're meme rapper, not actual lyrical rappers), "Jewish Pac with a twist of whitman" saying he's a mix of Tupac and Walt Whitman(who was a great poet. and pac was one of thew greatest rappers), etc. For people who's channel's sole purpose is to react to other videos...they really didn't pick up on 75% of the shit Shia said. That's embarrassing.

I think it's a good combo with Z and Lou, with Z being more analytical and looking into the lyricism, while Lou (Who I assume is younger) kinda of tries his best to grasp the meaning, haha
He missed the Dismas/dismissed double meaning @ 7:34 "Used to be a litmus, if you didn't write your own shit you got dismas" Dismas was one of the thieves that was crucified with Jesus. That's a crazy fucking reference thrown out there by Shia.

@@rickest553no people use poppy seeds to make poppy tea which gets you high af it has multiple opiates in it. just google poppy seed tea. heroin and opium are made from the sap of the poppy plant
