Wow.. My Mum had one of these back in the 70's 😊 Also had the Hoover Keymatic washing machine with the orange and the white key plates,.Great video 👍

Thanks, a very popular spin dryer and certainly got the clothes dried spinning at 2,800rpm very quickly.

I remember my Mum saying that she always hand washed and only had the above spin dryer till she saved up enough and bought her first automatic which was the Hoover keymatic 3243H. Bless her. Must've been such hard work! Thanks for the video, Paul 😊@@WeHadOneOfThose

Great spin dryers , very distinctive noise, heard from lots of neighbours houses as kids.

The saving on energy if using a tumble dryer was immense at the time, and also the saving of drying time especially in the UK was tops , you could actually wash & dry clothes the same day now .
