With at least 400 hours of work and the combined efforts of several musical and visual artists I will be releasing the longest and more challenging video I've ever made. See you August 13. Music: • Stranger Think - C418
From making critiques on weird fan arts on Deviantart to analyzing and discussing about fine arts and its history just like art classes do, Solar Sands reached on a milestone to such a great character development. Congratulations! I am so proud of you!
There was never a channel more deserving of hitting this milestone, your documentaries and observations on art are second to none. Congratulations, dude :)
It's beautiful to see how much this channel has matured. Not to say older content is necessarily bad, but it's gotten more serious (at least compared to the days of Deviantart rants and such) and more informative as well. These 'deep dives' are amazing. Don't ever sell out or become like most RU-vidrs when they get big - driven by what brings in views and likes instead of what they actually have a passion for.
AHHHHH i remember clicking your deviantart reviews as soon as you put them out back in 8th grade, and now ive graduated. I cannot say how happy i am for you and how much i love your new content. You’ve grown SO much.
Dude, I remember seeing your videos on deviant art garbage back when you had a small following. At least 100k. This is crazy!! You worked hard for it though, proud of you!!
Solar Sands became one of the best video essay channles on RU-vid. As an artist and illustrator I love all episodes on art especially, but everything really is great. Wish you all the best Sands, cant wait for the video!
I had a dream that this was a video essay about an obscure video game from the early 2000s which you'd slowly reveal with 6 clips that we had to piece together ourselves.
From reviewing tacky and weird fanarts on Devienart to creating videos on explaining the deep reality of modern and historical aspects of art, this man, right here, has created an experience unlike any other. I myself, along with countless others, thank you for a journey of a lifetime and cannot wait for you to expand even more. Thankyou. really, thankyou :]
congrats on 1 mil man! its been crazy watching you grow, from just a funny guy doing deviantart reveiws to someone who is really admirable in the way of diving deeper into interesting subjects. keep it up! :D
As someone who has been watching this content for years and all the changes and growth you've gone through, I'm so proud and happy for you! And I've only had to go to therapy a couple of times!
I really appreciate the kind of videos that you make, they are really awesome and I think it's what I was looking for in lots of ways, they are so interesting and deep. You deserve even more subscribers, congratulations!♡
I can’t believe his at a million sups… I’ve been watching this channel for almost five years now, that’s wired. I will from time to time go back and watch his old videos. This is one of my favorite RU-vid channels. The DeviantArt videos where really funny and entertain. The art deep divides videos and the other documentary like videos are fascinating. From reviewing a poorly drawn cow cat on DeviantArt, discussing where Minecraft’s painting came from, messing around with Legos, exploring Internet trends like siren head, gotcha life and liminal spaces, shit posts, interesting documentary like videos etc. this channel has always had so much diversity and quality. I can’t wait for the new video! Congratulations Solar Sands 🎉
Ohh..such a beautiful moment, been here from the very first deviant art videos and now I get so nuch more mature and interesting things when a new video cones up...it's like both of us have grown up and I'm so, so proud
Been following for a minute. I think it was around the antro planes DeviantArt bullshit. It's amazing to see you've come this far. Good work solar sands. Proud of you.
So much has happened, from making Deviantart C r i n g e videos, to actually reviewing art, then to analyzing art trends and history. From an old viewer, you truly deserve each one of those subscribers. Congratulations!
