@@lequinow yeah he actually played some moves I didn't see as a 1600 and the all opening was probably prep because that's a super weird gambit to play if not and that queen maneuver
If I say it, I truly mean it: There is not a single RU-vid I know, not only in chess, who deserves 1 million, 10 million, 100 million subscribers as much as Levy. He has been making videos non stop, probably not sleeping at all but bombarding us with his energy and content. Congratulations with this milestone! I hope that he knows, that if he needs a break (which would be ABSOLUTELY understandable), that we will absolutely support this decision. If not, then we will support this decision as well. Now let’s make him the biggest chess Yter on the platform.
@@lucastornado9496 no because most of the times it's easy to evaluate a position when you are not playing.Dont just say they are using engines because they defeat you
Get better. I'm not telling you in a bad way, you can grind your way out of 1000s up until like 1600. Some GM i don't remember once said that: "why do they make the blunders against a strong player and not on my games, said the audience, and it's because of chances. If you play better moves, there's a bigger chance your oponent wont". And it goes at any level.
Hey levy, I know you have close to 1000+ comments, but if you are seeing this, I just really want to thank you for your hard work. As a fifteen year old kid who watched you since 30k, and has watched all of your videos since then leading me to gain 400 rating points, I just want to thank you for your dedication towards making quality content. :)
First time commenting, but a long time viewer. Thank you, Levy for putting out all of your videos. They help people in more ways than you can imagine. I have been though some rough health crisis for the past 2-3 years, and having a consistent video from Levy always puts a smile on my face. Thank you again, Levy
This is the most rewarding video I've ever seen. To see levy grow so quickly and so much is just incredible, I know watching RU-vid videos is a parasocial relationship but I feel so invested and I want him to do well.
Congrats my dude! Your content and chess in general helped me entertain myself during lockdown. Thank you so much for all the amazing content and keep up the great work!
I have been a subscriber when levy had around 200k subs and I've seen the man grow. His confidence and content both has improved a lott and we love you levy
Greetings from Denmark! I really enjoy all the content you have been creating, it has made every day in this quite isolated period during the writing of my graduate project a little brighter. I learned chess from my grandfather from a young age and I began to play the game again in the start of the pandemic - partly due to the extra spare time I suddenly got, and partly in loving memory of my grandfather - I guess. With this said, I much appreciate your shared love and knowledge of the game, and it makes it all the better that you come off as a very like-able character. Thanks a lot.
You deserve it all, Levy. Absolutely all of it. Not only are you a great teacher, but you're a brilliant creater with a brilliant mind and a perfect personality. It's the best feeling when you post, even when I understand absolutely nothing, you really draw us in. Despite only being one out of a million, you make us feel likes we're all a big family. Congratulations, Levy!
@@messapiizza5506 They are using rockets made using sugar as fuel. How strong and accurate do yo think they are against a dome of some of the most advanced rockets.
Bro first game, I knew that this had to be a strong opponent because of the subtle queen moves I would have never thought of as a 1300 rated player. But Gotham convinced me he was that low.
Hey Levy, you're amazing what an impact you've had on the chess community with the fundraisers, streaming and commentating. Thank you for introducing me to the chess world. I've watched your videos daily and I've improved from 400 elo to 1300 thank you everything congrats on 1 million! You're amazing
You deserve each one of your subs. Great and useful content, with a mix of very smart sarcasm while never taking yourself, a freakin titled player, too seriously. I fell in love with this channel since the very beginning. Keep up the great work bro!
CONGRATULATIONS, FRIEND 👏👏👏 Knew you could do it; so crazy to have been a part of this ride over the past year. Would have never guessed that my first client ever after finishing design school would hit 1M RU-vid subs in a year loll. Something good to come out of this crazy year 😂
“You ain’t no sub of mine - uh uh - you an Eric Rosen sub!l 😆 Congrats Levy - you’ve worked hard and you deserve it. But between you all, and Danya and Agadmator and Hanging Pawns and Finegold and J-Bart… Damn, we’re a lucky bunch. Thank you all.
You could try to get a website/plugin setup where viewers can try guess the exact ELO of the player in each round and they would get points dependent on how close their guesses were, and then after all the games the viewer with the most points could get a reward such as getting their own game reviewed? Just an idea :P
13:50 rg8+ isn't mate, there is a queen sacrifice, after rg8+, qg4, if the rook takes the queen, just g4. if the pawn takes the queen, then white moves their pawn to a4.
yeah, thats what i wondered when he said that. laptop users take like 2 sec for just moving or misclicks would be common. its better if u lose a game to time than on misclicks
There are 2 types of players : (When winning) "Omg that was so nice, i should send this match for a guess the elo episode" (When getting destroyed) "At this rate i'll definetly end up in guess the elo"
Congratulations Levy, it's been almost 6 months since then, and your amazing content has never ceased to make me happy. Whether it's the comedy of Guess the ELO or the fascination of top level chess, you always make my day better with your videos. Congrats Levy, never change, at least not on camera.
Congratulations Levy, you deseve it! Good content, well explained...but even more important, the company you create. We have never met, maybe we will never, but I know you would be a great friend. Continue like that, I wish you the best...and I thank you for all the knowledge you share and the laughs you've induced :)
The fact tha levy during the game says its probably gonna have 250K views on youtube , when i look at it now and i see its above one million , thats absolutely freezing 🔥
You should consider that, even 1200 rated players and above, sometimes play the game doing other things simultaneously, not paying that much attention and just playing for fun. Thats why blunders happen
