Great recipe, I make these all the time! I use 3-4 TBS of almond flour, no need for the protein powder, and I also don't use sweetener, just drizzle with some sugar free maple syrup after it's cooked. The vanilla is really essential to offset the egg flavor. Just my experience, easy to make and customize.
Joe, I just love how you create these individual keto desserts! -So handy for those times where we have a serious craving, but don’t want to blow our lifestyle on the sugar-starch counterpart and/or don’t want a big ol’ batch! -TY for all of the detail you put into your delicious receipts also! 👏 Mary in Alberta, Canada! :)
Joe, I really appreciate that your instructions are all on YT, not in the Pinterest site. I was using that site to get a lot of good recipes, but just recently the algorithms there are somehow "misfiring," and the most bizarre things were popping up on my site---things I'd never in my life look at voluntarily!--so I deleted the account. Happily, when I come here, I know that you don't post content that makes a person feel like shutting down their Internet service, and you post some mighty good recipes. Thank you for your clean language, your quiet dignity in all your posts, and your intelligent, mature manner of presentation. This elderly (68 y.o.) woman appreciates deeply that a young person is willing to go to the effort of making his videos enjoyable and thoroughly watchable by all viewers.
Just tried the recipe!! OMG It's so good!! Yummy yummy. :D will definitely be making again. And you know what its the first recipe that inspired me to bother getting almond flour.
Just made it without the blueberries (I already had my fill of them for the day haha) and without the protein powder (don't have it at home). Very yum! Thanks for the recipe :)
Love your videos! Love this one too. Would enjoy seeing the recipes for the single serving as you do but also for a dozen muffins. I’m sure there isn’t a need to multiply everything by 12 if making a large batch.
I don't know what's in Swerve. I prefer to use stevia, agave or rice malt syrup. With stevia in liquid form you only need to add drops not tablespoons. I'm not keto though, but still enjoy your videos.
Hey Joe ~ You didn’t say spatulate or whiskefy today, and somehow I’m crushed 🥺 I suppose I can let you slide seeing as how you didn’t use an actual whisk, but I’m bereft without a Duffism today. I’ll make this recipe tho, because you rock. How’s the baby? ♥️ 👶🏻 ♥️
Hey Joe, are you sure your microwave is 1100Watt ? that might be the grill wattage , finding it hard to find one, some commercial ones are 1100 watt but most consumer ones are 800 -900 Watt, what make and model is it ? Thanks Great Vids BTW
I buy it at my local Co-Op and I live in a small town. Most big name stores should have it (Though I didn't see it at Superstore). Any health food store will have it. They even have the stevia/erithrytol chocolate chips too! A must for my cookies and just as good as regular chips
Take regular swerve and pour it into a blender and blend it into a powder. Could also use a spice grinder people use to grind coffee beans. It works for erythritol, monkfruit, and even regular sugar!
I always have frozen blueberries on hand all the time. If I need them defrosted, I just put them in the microwave for 10 seconds at a time until they are soft enough.
Is that for just one muffin???!!! You put a lot of Swerve, and a lot of protein powder and a lot of butter. I will try with a lot less and see how it works out.
@@TinasArtPage I think with the high amount of butter and swerve, I figured it’d be too sweet and high in calories. I tried it with less butter and swerve and a bit of almond milk and in the oven. It was almost perfect. I think I put it in just a couple minutes too long and it was a bit dry 😃
