So the Nazis actually copied/stole the original symbol and created their version which became known as the Swastika 😒. I don't remember the specifics, but I believe one thing I've heard is that it was actually an indigenous symbol with a positive meaning. Sadly, something similar has been done with some of the Nordic runes and symbols as well. White supremacists have ✌️adapted✌️them for their own purposes. It's gross 😮💨.
