I also highly recommend bringing a packable down jacket. The one from uniqlo has saved me so many times and is great for bringing an extra layer when you’ll be gone the whole day but it’s warmish during the day and a lot colder at night.

This video could not have come at a more perfect time - I leave tomorrow for a trip that's only 8 days but I am PANICKING because I currently cannot fit my 7 sweaters and 10 shirts into my extra large suitcase hahahahaha so thank you for keeping me humble in my packing endeavors.
Wow, I got alot of these pieces but you put them together such a fresh way. Also ALWAYS pack a spare pair of underwear and sox in your carry on. My luggage didn't make the transfer on a long flight, and I had nothing clean to put on.

I'm travelling to Japan in late November/early December with just a small carry-on and tote bag/tote pack and this video is genius! I've looked at lots of similar videos but this is the best. I'll be adding thicker socks and thin thermal layers if needed. The wardrobe pictured here would be ideal for most of New Zealand in winter without any amendments ☺.

For this video, I just have to point out one thing - where I need to pack for - not going to be able to do bare ankles !! If I still want that clean look I can wear thin wool socks (nude ? ) or some other alternative - everything else - perfection !
