As we've just been driving through France to complete the first part of the journey I guessed we would have 13 views by the time we stopped to rest..... But no.....123..... I'm amazed, shocked and genuinely proud of the friends that have supported me. Thanks everyone and I promise I'll keep making these videos better 👍❤️
Almost at 4 now it's insane. Went from 138 subscribers to 621...... Absolute insanity, I don't think I've ever been so thankyou .....but you and J were first 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
I'm really taken back to be fair with all the love. Although people on here won't really see we've put a lot of work into this so getting nice comments back makes it worth it ☺️
We've just joined your channel, and we're looking forward to seeing your journey. We're retired Aussies, living on the East Coast NSW Beach areas. Congratulations to you both on your new adventure 🎉❤
Hello and welcome. Thanks for joining along for the journey. I found out recently the the granny smith originated from Australia we planted one a few weeks back. I've never been yet but it's on my bucket list. Have a lovely weekend and thanks for commenting we love hearing where people are from 🤗🤗🤗
It's a sweet chestnut tree, the ones that you have at Christmas..... no pesticides on natural fruit, that s*-t you have to buy in supermarkets..... best of luck and looking forward to the next one.
Yes your right we had so many of them drop it was insane. There going to get a little prune this year and then hopefully we can harvest some next year and cook some. We can't wait!!!! Thanks for the lovely words 🤗🤗🤗
Hello! We just started our journey in a Mafra ruin (near Lisbon). It is not a farm, just a historic stone house abandoned decades. Will be a pleasure follow your channel.
Thanks dude, the next few video get better I was so nervous hahah. So honoured for you to say what you did we love watching your vids. Currently in Niort in the north of France and Into Spain tomorrow 👍👍👍
Wow, German in Kansas, how did that happen! Thanks for the love, I used to want to live to kansas. I think watching superman made me want a ranch with a big old red barn
Welcome to this wonderful country and good luck with the new project, the land where dreams come true. I can't wait for the new videos of your project....Good luck
Thanks so much bud! It'll be 6pm every Friday! I must say from the 3rd vid they get better still trying to figure out how to use my camera and computer hahaha. And your right it is a wonderful place!!!!!!
Wow I can't believe we've reached you over there thanks so much for watching, this Friday's video is a bit longer at 24 mins so hopefully you can enjoy it! 🤗🤗🤗
Heya bud thanks so much..... It's so daunting isn't it. Got into a bit of a routine now so not so bad but I tip my hat to you all a 1 hour job takes 3 or 4 when filming ha. When's your next one dropping 👍🤗
On starting the old tractor: first you need fresh fuel, second you need spark ..so change fuel, check fuel filter or replace, then get some carburetor starting spray, clean or replace the spark plugs , check or replace the oil.. then you are well on the way to a functioning dependable piece of equipment! Your friend from Indie projects means well but really has no clue about engine management and service.. you eventually would want to replace the battery, but that certainly was very low priority.. if you run the battery down too low trying to start the tractor it can possibly damage it.. best of luck!
I think we both don't have a clue other than new battery and fresh fuel ha but we traced the fuel from the tank to the filter then to the pump and then injectors somewhere between pump and injectors we've lost fuel so hoping it's a priming issue and not a pumping issue. Going to have a real deep dive and see what we can find. Thanks for the tips though it's all new to me I didn't even know how to start the thing ha. Motorbikes ..... Then I know a bit more 😂
I need to have a better look tomorrow to see how to get to the plugs as it looks like.ill need to take the dash off. Going to try and find the manual online ☺️ do they do Haynes manuals for tractors ☺️
The tractor, if its not been abused, will last you a life time. Old Fords are amazing machines. My guess is, fluids and filters change, a battery, a thorough greasing will make this a running beast. Thank you for your time and best of luck.
I think it's an old iseki ..... Which I think has a mitsubishi engine so still pretty reliable..... I'd love a ford though like a really old one! Ahhh I hadn't thought about greasing all the points too. Thanks so much!!!!!! it WILL run (I hope)
I took a leap because it resembled a Ford (color). Iseki built tractors for AGCO, Bolens, Challenger, Massey Ferguson and White. And Iseki is a great tractor. They have been around forever. As long as it hasn't been abused the Mitsubishi engine is very good. Supposed to be pretty simple to work on and maintain. Good luck, can't wait to see her run.
Pretty simple eh...... Perfect ha. You and me both when I first opened the door I was like jackpot we have a ford 😂 wait until you see me on it though..... It's teeny! Grass is growing fast so need to get her running and get a grass cutting attachment ASAP! thanks for the advice I may have to pick your brains when I start to play with the old iseki 🤗
Wow 3 a week not sure I can do that. Started on one a week and in the new year maybe 2 a week but I think that's my max. It's takes so long. 2 full times jobs ha 😂
Hi, well done to the both of you on your new adventure, ive been watching vids like this for years, but this is the first ever ive subcribed too, be yourselves, be good and inspire others, i hope to start the same journey next year. xx
Evening, not sure where to relocate at the moment, had a little tour last year on my bike, chaves area etc, booked again for april next year, have a little more time to explore, then hopefully over for 3 months in sept/oct/nov next year. In the mean time just research. @@escapetothequinta
Maybe .... Maybe. I'll get it running and we can talk..... Though I do fall in love with machinery so may end up keeping it forever hahah. Wish I could buy my first car back and bring it to Portugal haha
Yes unfortunately, imagine if it was full!!!! And yeah tractors mileage is in hours as some won't move much but will have an attachment that could have been used for ages. So yeah the second the engine starts it starts counting. Less than 100 seems very low though
Ah nice I'll let him know 👍 if you see his video when he came over to us the mic is so clear as he has those ones you were talking about with the fuzzy thing. Makes such a difference doesn't it
@@escapetothequinta - Yes, I forgot that Theo got one too, not long ago. And yes, ever since, the audio has been great & very professional. Not affected by wind or other loud sounds at all. Yes, speak to him about it. I wonder if I told him about it & to check out the same channel I told you about. I usually tell everyone that's new to recording the same thing. lolol. I'm 71 yrs old. My memory seems to come & go these days. More going lately.
Maybe you did haha. I'm still new to recording and editing so all advice is so so useful I really appreciate it. The bad sound drives me crazy I think a nice mic will make such a difference. Have a lovely Sunday 😊
Tell me about it. Can't wait to see if it works hahah. What tractor are you running. I'm all new to this, I will literally have to Google how to start it haha!!!
@@escapetothequinta no tractor for me 😓 but you can see me doing some little stuff too. 🤗 I hope the best for you. Your place looks awesome. Welcome to Portugal!
I think I meant to say prune. The big trees need a big prune and any trees too close to the house I think we will dig and move to a better location. ☺️
