Thirty seconds into the video you can see the officer consoling one of the drivers, a woman who sobbed as she waited in traffic. She told the officer she heard the bullets all around her.
This is one of the best body cam footage of what was being done as the radius of the shooters field was increasing. Excellent work/guidance/protection and narration by this officer.

This officer dose a good job keeping the people calm and cool and informed on the saturation. I just have to say I think if a dirt bag intentions become clear that the person is aiming to be a active shooter they should be stop and put down immediately without hesitation to protect the General Public. People that do such terrible things are no longer people. but are monsters and have give up there right to be treated as a person, as soon as they decided hurt and killed others that dangerous person should be treated as monsters and without hesitation brought to a end as Swift and as soon as possible to slave life's is the goal and to end the Mad Men Rampage.
No those two sounds are a car hitting something. Those are definitely not gunshots. You can hear it almost being a double that are close to each other because it's both set of tires hitting either a pothole, manhole cover, or a surface change. It's very obvious

You're acting like these are the only officers in the whole city. theres enough officers at the shooting scene. Extra officers can go around directing people away from the shooting
