Athletes from 3rd world countries also excel in speed because they are brought up without the use of footwear which changes your gait and doesn't work your ankle and foot muscles properly, they also don't have as many means of transportation and have been brought up running because they had to. For example instead of taking the bus to school they would have to run 10 miles etc

I know this was six years ago big homie, but the same thing happens to me. I been to prison twice (I've got my own company and I'm doing great, I changed my life) but my first number, I was 18. I worked out everyday minus the weekend. I did 3 years and went in at 19 180lbs. I came home at 21 217lbs, but looked like I was in the Marines. Wish I could post a picture. I went back in 2021 for a PV on a different case. I was 31 and I went for a year but got out super early. I was in pain pills before going so I had to withdraw and I wasn't able to eat so I shrunk to 161lbs. Bruh it took me less than 90 days to get where I wanted to be. I left my second time at 233 and looking like an army figure. If I could do more for legs, I'd be an easy 250lbs. MFS actually thought I was using steroids 😂😂😂. I still work out to this day, but I eat 5-6 times a day. I eat 3 regular means without acting greedy and I eat 2-3 small meals in between. I'm 35 and I feel like I'm 22 all over again. Our genetics are a blessing. I go hard because it pisses off my white buddies. They think I should suffer like them being 35-40 and built like a whopper. I lost my full ride to Clemson my first number. I also set the 100m, 200m dash times at my junior high and highschool. Junior high I ran a 10.4 in 100m. I ran a 4.23 40 my sophomore year. I was with the wrong crowd, but I didn't snitch and threw away my hopes and dreams. Anyway, I know muscle has memory, but I blow up and cut up very fast. What takes a white guy a year or more takes me 4-6 months tops. Right now I'm 6'2" 223 lbs and I've been this size for the past 18 months. I love my body!! And wifey makes me keep my facial hair because if I cut it completely off, I look no older than 25. I'm blessed out here and so are my kids. They're smart and crazy athletic. I have a 5 year old daughter that shows promise with her speed and she tumbles. I know she'll be smart like her daddy was/is, but my wife is the same way. She's white and 41, but looks an easy 23-25 and she has a perfect body. She's 5'3 and 130 lbs. We eat, workout and drink plenty water. We don't always eat Super healthy because that's boring, but we have veggies and fruit everyday. I never ate like a body builder, but could've easily been one.

I don't know if that's completely true because Africans that have always been there are also great athletes such as the Kenyan distance runner. Other black athletes are great such as the Jamaican sprinters. They weren't all slaves being selected.

In the Caribbean most of us have it hard. So as a youngster u have to find ways how to survive. If u go in the country u will see some muscular men that don't even know what a gym is. Most of them do farming and walk for miles each day. Kids have to walk to school no matter how far is the nearest school; and it's the food we eat everything natural no chemicals. Plus most people don't pay mortgage they build their own house, so less stress. So that's a hint of why we have a lot of successful athletes.
This makes so much sense. Walking outside, getting vitamin d and burning calories. Building muscle and endurance and staying lean and best quality of food. It’s a life style.
I think Black athletes and so forth are incredible specimens. As a human being and a white bloke, we should all celebrate it. Generally its all about body resisting heat, because in sport your body heats up making you sweat and produce heat. And black skin is good in resisting heat. Then I have friends who are from the east who are lighter skin and have zero muscle, then I have friends from central africa who are built more slender but athletic. Yea I don't know man, but it does seem the more north you get in europe, the stronger guys get, and that is where it's colder.

Im from Mexico but Im black, and I remember back in middle school how everyone asked me if I was in some sort of training because I look too ripped and muscular.. but the truth is I started training until I was 17, before then just played soccer. Your premise is flawed, you must use individuals with similar living and training conditions for comparison i.e. the AA vs African vs Caribbean comparison, generally different living environments for example AA and Caribbean are generally more "explosive" when expending energy without training eg sprints, but Africans tend to do better in endurance sports without training eg marathons. Then try to link differences in performance to those other factors like genetic breeding *eyeroll*

I feel like genetics and natural selection play a huge role in athletic ability but I also believe if you train hard enough and have the drive you can do anything, I work out because all my life I was fat, too skinny, and people say I can't go anywhere all I take from this video is that this is just motivation to keep going forward no matter race or gender
@@ginobliloop4636 Well it's true in a lot of cases, but you need to have at least decent genetics. If you have completely horrible genetics then there's only a certain point you're going to be able to get to regardless of how hard you train. Genetics is everything, but you can get so much further then you think you can if you work hard, that's for sure. Blacks are more athletic generally, but a good white athlete can destroy a good black athlete as well, it just depends on the specific person. I wipe the floor with all the black guys at my gym, and I go to an athletic gym, but it's because of my very high level genetics combined with very very hard work. Most of the top athletes in the world are usually black in most sports though, and blacks are generally better athletes, but that doesn't mean if you're white you can't outdo most of the black guys in your circle, although the average person won't be able to, in some cases you will be able to if you have the genetics. It's not good to compare yourself to others though, white or black. Just do your thing and keep improving. That's best overall.

Your hypothesis on contributes a small percentage to the whole answer. There are many other factors such as melamine and food. About the Africans, you'll need to go to Africa and see first hand Natural henchness, no body fat, no gym, no steroids, no shakes, (because many of them have no access to or cannot afford the latter 3) all from pure physicality.

It's the way the Sub Saharan body has adapted to it's environment to survive. The same with many island people's tend to be short, as food is not as plentiful. Or people in cold areas have adapted such as the Inuit ( Eskimo's ) tend to be short and bigger around the middle.
I am going to be blunt about this. Blacks are genetically superior to whites or other races in terms of survival and fitness. When people say blacks are primitive- yes, and no. By primitive, they retained some of the ancient human traits such as darker skin complexion, more muscle mass, better muscular endurance, strength, and reflexes. Blacks/Africans are also more genetically diverse and this diversity increases more in Afro-Americans because of mixtures of different African tribes. White people are bottleneck of Africans and they were even inbreed to have lighter pigmentation features. For example, blue eyes, used to be very rare genetically, about a common as albinism, but become very common because of inbreeding which also limits the more useful ancestral survival genes to have more "pretty" gene. Now Asians, I don't know, they do have brains though.
I think what we do as children also matters. Take a look at a white kid who's done gymnastics or cheerleading in their youth. They generally keep that physique through their entire life. However they may be as gifted as a black kid who's also done the same gymnastics as a child. Genetics is amazing.
But when it comes down to explosiveness black people are CLEARLY built different. I’ve been training athletes for years it’s in the family my dad was a strength and conditioning trainer for 30+ years.. Weve had athletes of all races ages sizes etc… black people are just simply built different they can naturally do things other races just can’t do. I'm a male from India, and back in the 7th grade we had a student in our class, she was an African from Tanzania... During a running race, me and my freinds raced her .... and she beat all of us, without even breaking a sweat.... by the end of the race i was huffing and puffing, and i felt like my legs are killing me.... while she was perfectly fine, and I'm honestly a decent runner.

You're not accounting for the Zulus, the Dahomians.... African tribes with physically superior, very strong black men that kicked European butt before they brought over the big guns. It does have something to do with the lean muscle theory particularly the thigh muscles developed from 1000s of years of our African brothers and sisters walking and running; not driving cars, carriages, horses, camels -- we used our own muscle power in movement. As Africans became more agrarian, tilling the land instead of hunting, those areas of people became shorter, with less quick muscle fibers which also means they were easily conquered by raiders. But, since all races (whites included) come from Blacks, everyone had this ability at one time but lost it as they moved and adjusted to different environments and modernization. So you are right about the selection process for that era of slavery, but realize, the original race (Black) were already naturally selected and honed for physical superiority way before "5 hundred years ago!"

This presentation makes a whole lot of sense; black communities, by and large, invest an immense amount of resources solely to preserve this culture, instead of focusing on intellectual development. @@PlamerRicko7 I'm white, and in general blacks are naturally stronger and more athletic than whites. Obviously whites can be more athletic and stronger than a lot of black guys too, and there are top white athletes, but in general overall blacks are better athletes, and I think that's just true generally. Hard work pays off A LOT though for anyone period. Most people don't work nearly as hard as they should, and are know where near as good as they can be.

The African american specimen is stronger in general than its African counter part but the variance isn't great enough in comparison with the original genetic pool ... the certain west African tribes. And NO Africa isn't homogenous so no general comments regarding the continent. Note: When it comes to long distance running and endurance East African Blacks are superior. They have much more slender features and live at higher altitudes.
James Key northern Europeans have the best standards of living hence better nutritional benefits and balanced diet. They are more likely to have the strongest/largest bodybuilders in the world so far. So obviously the activity is skewed to certain benefited regions of people on average

Hey, I am both African and carribean (half-half) and I noticed this natural selection impact in sports. Africans from the diaspora (descendants of slaves) are the best athletes in the world. However Africans are as strong, but we don't have the culture of physical hard work (hence the trauma Africans taken into slavery have suffered) let alone workout. Black Americans in general ( including Caribbeans, South Americans) do have that mentality. They have developed it through their history of slavery and now a days through sports as it brings a great income to professional athletes. The other positive thing this natural selection brought to Africans descendants of slaves is that they suffer less of sickle cell, and less diseases that we have in Africa (malaria etc.). I am proud of my ''mixed " heritage and particularly of my carribean ancestors who made us strong 💪

The only reason powerlifting and lifting in general is dominated by white guys is because there is 0 demand for that in black places in america. It's all about football and basketball.

I could easily respond to that by saying that whites don't do well in sprinting, football and basketball, because the demand is for cycling, swimming lifting, but that would be bullshit wouldn't it? There are physiological reasons why Blacks dominate sprinting and have an advantage in basketball and some other sports. We are the products of our ancestral environments and have different strengths and weaknesses because of that. Blacks don't do well in cycling because they have larger bones and are more muscular and so they weigh more, which is a disadvantage in an endurance sport, however these qualities help to make them dominant in sprinting.

Anybody can eat a lot, lift weights, and pump their body with artificial hormones to become so called strong men. I see plenty of black men in bodybuilding competitions, a sport that is directly related to strength sports. Strength is a fundamental and valued masculine virtue; are you telling me that black men aren't interested in demonstrating masculine virtues? One of the reasons that blacks can generate more power is that they have broader shoulders and narrower waists. This is also the reason why they have less core stability, which is detrimental to your ability to shoulder great weights.

Africans like everywhere else had inter-tribal wars and prisoners were taken. These prisoners were given to the Europeans at that time. (This was a very small number of enslaved people). This whole narrative about Africans selling themselves is false and an attempt to justify European evil and barbaric acts. Lastly, I am west African and while growing up, we weren't just taught these things on paper, we were taken to several slavers bays across west Africa to see things for ourselves - It was an industrialized business perpetuated by white people.
