Oh the boys in their noisy little tuk tuk was adorable! And Crusoe counting in Portuguese! It just shows you how much they soaked up on their journey. They are learning so much so fast and are becoming children of the world!

Loving watching you in the greenhouse Tara - my happy place planting seeds. Hint for tomatoes. Take a paper towel & squish any ripe tomato onto it, spread out the mush. Leave it in the sun to dry. Then put away for next year's planting. All you have to do is bury the paper towel flat under a bit of soil - loads of little plants will sprout up within days!

i always look at the total time of the video at the start of each one and get disappointed that its not longer honesty guys i could watch hours and hours of newby content i wish the videos werelike an hour long

Your sweet peas can start in the greenhouse but then just move them outside. I’m envious as I’m in Canada and cannot start my indoor seeds until early April and then the seedlings late May into the garden. I’m going to say John should be careful he doesn’t hurt his shoulder again.

I really like the front door plan and steps John. I think the brick wall at the bottom should be pushed back a bit so you fully see the two granite sones completely. What do you think? I love being able to see the farm from above, it helps make sense of how everything fits together. And the transformation of having two bedrooms soon-ish! I've pictured Tara especially sneaking off to take a nap in the tiny house in order to get enough sleep, how you and John have managed with sharing a bed with toddlers is quite amazing! I love the remodel plan . I like that you are fixing the drop off first . I hope you really do it up as it is your forever home so you can really enjoy having the room for some time . All the construction you are going to need that and your office space as an oasis. Toddler proofing the Greenhouse is a great idea. Those two little loves are adorable but the toddler days really stretch your sanity at times . I love seeing Sawyers personality emerging . He is gonna give you a good run ❤. He really takes things in but he is every bit as adventurous as Carusoe. It’s a joy to share with you. Soon we are about to have our own adventure!

I hung a back of door shoe holder( pockets ) in my greenhouse to put the little stuff I kept misplacing like gloves, snips etc Helps keep me more organized 🌱💚

I have to say that I think this is what you should have planned on doing before. I would also gut the other house and add it to the stone cottage. They have such history and character.

I just realized how much Sawyer looks like Crusoe. There was a moment where his expression was so similar to a younger Crusoe. In a few more years, there will be no doubt that they are brothers.❤

One suggestion: as you have one window above the porch that is not centered, why not extend the porch a little bit to the left so that the window and the porch line up? As the door can't be moved, you could cover that left extension with beautiful climbing flowers so that the asymmetry is balanced.

Just a thought - if you wanted to save all the labor of putting in the blocks, which may be later removed after your son is bigger in just a couple years. Would be to put up a temporary fence line around us stairway in the top ! Inexpensive and could be completed within few hours .

I think the porch stones would become much more of a nice feature if you move the lower blocks just slightly to the right rather than butting up to the front, but I’m sure it will look great however you end up doing it 👍

You should plant a Bougainville on the side of the porch, it will give a lovely complentary red contrast.

By the way, love your chicken coop. Here is a suggestion. I got my dog from a farm that bred dogs and they had a pen outside with peacocks and another with dogs and they had a wired mesh all around like you do and a wired mesh on top with the mesh much smaller. This was to stop the birds of prey from swooping down and picking up birds and even small dogs. Just thought you might like to know about this.

I think John should stack the bricks for the wall on the steps before sloping. End with the slope after the wall is complete, that way it is a little bit more stable

I absolutely love everything you do. The children are growing so very fast. Love how you involve them in what you do. As a gardener, starting most of my vegetable in the greenhouse house I would recommend you power wash the glass, clean and wash the floor as well as all surfaces every year before starting planting. Olá Bom Dia and good day to all ! Great video guys. I noticed you like flowers. Plant a few red "cravos" in your garden - Dianthus Caryophyllus, commonly known as carnations . They are very typical here in Portugal and they look and smell wonderful. Ask Portuguese friends what the symbol for "25 de Abril" is, and they will say Red Carnations. It is the Portuguese Revolution day, also called "The Revolution of the Carnations" (Revolução dos Cravos).
