Good vlog - keep up the great work! Gold and silver are very expensive and people including me are struggling as everything in the UK has gone up (all living costs) and wages haven't gone up enough to match the extortionate expenses that we all have to pay. I would love to own a couple of 1 Oz Gold coins for retirement. I am hoping that Gold prices will eventually come down at some point in my life.

Sold some shares that have been decreasing and brought my first britania coins today, my budget moving forward is only going to be £450 a month, would it be best to buy sovereigns, 1/4 britanias or try and save to buy a full one. I plan on saving for 20yrs. Great vids

Generally the sovereigns tend to be lower premium than the Britannias, they would be my first choice but if you can get deals on Britannias sometimes they're not too bad price wise

I thought it was a decent strategy. If you did it for the queen's beast it would have saved a few hundred pounds on the later releases and or given you a fantastic return especially on the earlier coins

Just got the 10 and 2oz Silver Unicorns and they look stunning. This is the only Silver I buy now and don't expect a return. I'm not buying the Gold Tudor Beasts but jut getting ready to buy the Perth Mint Gold Dragons in the 1oz, 1/4 and 1/10oz and a couple of Sovereigns. Then I'm going to sit on the sidelines and see what happens to PM's in the early new year before I decide what to do. By the way, the supermarkets will have the Easter Eggs in the window by the 27th December......there's something to look forward to!!!

i just have the one 1/4oz that happened to be cheaper than a Britannia at the time. I might go for the 1/4oz 007 series if they're doing them

I don't feel passionately drawn to the set, as I do with my Perth Mint lunar or Czech Lions. I've been collecting the quarter gold and two Oz silver, but it has kind of irritated me that continuing the series, stands in the way of finishing off more quickly the Lunar gold (1 Oz in half and quarter, half oz in tenth) and picking up more sizes of the Czech Lions. Or getting cool unexpected things like the bullion cypher 1/4. When I first started stacking I heard in one video the sage advice that you should narrow down your target pieces to collecting less types and now that advice is really starting to sink in. This said, I'll continue picking up the series, for now. Maybe get a box to put them in.

Yeah it's a good point, imagine trying to collect all the new releases from Royal Mint for eg... Beasts, Coronation, Monarchs, Myths, Legends, Music related ... silver... gold... bullion... proof etc etc phew

Not sure if the timing means there is so much out there for collectors that people are spread out with too many choices or whether it may just never live up to the QB series but it might still do well early days yet and happy to keep picking them up

They're available on eBay and Amazon. I got a few different sizes, these I expected would be good for sovs but are almost too big for them. The ones I intended for 1 Oz coins were more like plate stands 🤣

The Wealthy are finding themselves in the position of needing to sell their Gold. There is insufficient cash among the buyers, forcing lower premiums. It doesn't bode well All going to plan then! Regards

I "surmised" by the increasing preponderance of Doubles, Quintuples "Proofs" and higher value Sovereigns that have been turning up on Atkinson's and other sites over the last few months. Mr Oliver is expressing concerns about "The Market" I'm old, I've paid 14.5% on a mortgage. Deja Vu is a thing. Regards Sir.
