No gloves in that temperature. We use leather/goretex mittens with fur inside.

I slep in an ice hotel in Quebec about 20 years ago. Was pretty much like what you experienced. Not sure if we had better sleeping bags but didn't get cold at all. I actually slep so well that I woke up late arround 9:00 am and there was some visitors touring the hotel and they were looking inside my room while I was still in the bed! I missed the breakfast.

We have lingonberries here in Newfoundland, Canada, we call them partridge berries. We also have cloudberries but call them bake apples.
