How well I know what you mean by children turning away from their Godly upbringing. I pray daily for mine. And others are going thur this same thing. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
There is a lesson about today's church to be learned in the chapter you had just read, Chris. 'They have not rejected, you, Samuel; but rather they have rejected Me!' Are we no finding more and more 'Christians' who are more about the seeing, hearing tasting, touching, and smelling, rather than placing their faith in an invisible God? I'd prefer to be teaching before disciplined Christians who not only talk or preach about following God but will also show how they follow God through faith. What did God first send? The Judges? And they Israel wanted a tangible King? It's all about who will follow God through faith as opposed to those who can't or perhaps won't. Choose whom you shall serve. As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord - Joshua through the spirit of God placed upon him.
