Great video Ben! I'm just getting into bass fishing and found your channel not long ago......would you be willing to do a video on the rod breakdown in which type/action rod to use when using certain types of lures and such? I hear a lot of talk about "flipping rods" and other type of rods being used when using specific types of lures. I would love to see you go through the different types of rods and what types of lures they are designed to be used with and so forth. I would also love to see some videos on how to fish or best ways to fish certain jigs and lures and other techniques to help improve bite ratios.

So I was in this position 5 years ago. Now I just run a jon boat but I've got it set up and placed 5th out of 40 boats in points from a jon boat. The key is digging deep and finding a way. In Tennessee and alot of other states, tech school is free, I took advantage of that and now make 12/hr more than I did 5 years ago. Found something lucrative and with positions available to learn, rather than going for something that sounded cool. Point is set goals, and only allow great decisions, toward achieving those goals.

Great video first time watcher I think you nailed it. The only difference in the 35 years I’ve done tournaments for a spot like that if you plan to throw crank baits to check to see if fish are in there I would save that for the tournament and possibly throw a swing head or ball and chain. Save My confidence Bait for derby day
