BEST DAY EVER SWIMBAIT FISHING ON YOUTUBE!! (15 Bass OVER 7 Pounds) 

It all depends on how the lake lays out, how big it is, what the water quality is like, and time of year. So this video was filmed in October, typically the toughest time around here to catch big fish. I knew that since the water was low, the bass likely had to use what habitat was available in the lake (obviously ruled out bank habitat) and since this lake is loaded with standing timber, I had to do 2 things....1) try to find a DIFFERENT form of cover/structure than the abundant standing timber, which was the brush piles (always a great option for the late summer/fall transition) and 2) if i was fishing standing timber (like where I caught the 10 on the jerkbait) it needed to be in conjunction with the most prominent STRUCTURE (which was a main lake point). From there I was able to scan around with live sonar to see how the fish were relating, and draw upon my knowledge from the previous day of the big bass eating big gizzards that were relating to hard bottom drops on points (instead of threadfins that roam in bait balls in the basin/drains) to find that one sweet spot where the fish were cruising tight to the bottom eating gizzards.

I think my favorite part about this guy is he fishes all his own gear but he doesn’t over promote it when he catches it on the hinkle or something else he’s the first one to tell you he caught it on something else so sick of Googin squad their whole video is just a promotional video trying to get you to buy their shit thanks mofo that’s why we like your content

Not discounting Bens skills, but when one goes to a private pond that is stocked for this…any decent bass fishermen can do this…especially with livescope

Agreed...he knows what he is doing and how to use the equipment...I dont think they grow over 7-8 here in Missouri...good lord..mulitple 10's without trying...impressive.

@@MillikenFishing that was insane, my first one on the draw was like that but at the bank in a canal, followed it all the way to my feet and I let it drift back and then twitched and smash 💥 that was the most addicting moment in fishing for me, now I’ve got a 7’9 MFer rod and a 7’11 movement H both with a draw tied on.

Really appreciate you watching! I've definitely had to change a lot since I moved to Texas, but that's a good thing. Can't grow without adjustments.

We're really starting to develop a phenomenal line of smaller baits in the line-up! The 2.7 is incredible, obviously you guys have seen me slay with the juggle and glitch this year...the 25x and 25md are insanely good. But you guys will be extremely excited when you see who we brought about the team to help design some smallmouth baits beginning in 2023!

@@MillikenFishing I had a crazy day with the 25x recently too. Had a 25 lb limit! The 2.4 stroker craw on a football ned is a staple for me too now. Looking forward to more smaller baits too 🤙🏽.
