This video was really informative. I had no idea you could do stuff like letting Bap die on your head during ult or have enough time to avoid a Rein shatter if you ult. It's much better compared to the videos where some say "just shoot" or "It's not your job"

That general tip is extremely underrated. Sigma's playstyle is all about adapting and cooperation. More people need to pay attention to that. I kinda wished that the tips include how to deal with a hero when the shield is on cooldown/busy doing something else tho. Other than that, this has been a long time coming. Well done!

Another tip for when you’re against rein. If you had to use your shield to block something else or were caught out, you can still use your rock to interrupt the shatter/the follow up or it will force the rein to hold his shield for a second long so that you have your shield again Additionally, if a rein knows you’re saving shield to block his shatter, really let him know that’s what you’re doing. Then what you can do is use your shift and then almost immediately cancel it with rock, the rein will think it’s a free shatter but really he just lost his ult. Also don’t forget to melee between shots as it makes a big difference. Remember that you can’t melee during your ult tho

Couldn't agree more about Echo. She is still the most broken character and yet to receive a meaningful nerf.

I love that everyone else has strategies, while Bastion is just like "throw everything you have at him and pray that your teammates pick up the kill"

after 2 years and Sigma is the most overbloated and versatile tank who makes tanking a chore

As an Ana main, I see Sigmas ulting without shield all the time, wich makes them a target for sleep dart. The Sheld tip is REALLY good for that reason

Using Torb as a unit of measurement is an iconic part of this series.

My general tip for sigma is, don’t fucking play him. He’s ass since they nerfed his shield into the ground.

Glad I'm already familiar with most of this. The tough part is consistency.

I have a small tip from ages ago that I believe applies to Sigma. Attacks that deal knockback are credited for environmental Kills and give Ult Charge proportional to the health of the fallen Hero. It's why you always wanna Melee a Hero jumping off a cliff even if you don't have a knockback ability since you'll get the Kill credit and Ult Charge. To my knowledge, this should also apply to Sigma's primary (since it moves players around) so you have a way to tag enemies going off a cliff and get a ton of Ult Charge. I may be wrong (I haven't played this game in so long and mechanics may have changed) but I hope this helps someone

against echo, her primary rotation begins with her sticky bombs, so it is optimal for you to save your shield as much as you can to block the stickies from hitting you or teammates, then drop the shield before they blow up to reduce the damage done to your shield and ensure your shield gets more uptime during the fight.

What about 1 tip with every hero where you go through each hero and give combo tips

Started playing OW about a year and a half ago and Sigma has been my main for most of that. Love having a battle with another experienced Sigma.

Okay this is so good! I used to use my barrier to contest a mei, interrupt a hook, or block a shatter, and a d.va bomb but using it against molten core, and grav? I never thought of it. Thank Guru, and KarQ Also I did not know how Cass's ult completely. I once blocked him with barrier but got killed anyway. Well I know now why that happened

Hey Karq! Have do you have a Tank Fundamentals video? NGL I hate playing tank in Quickplay/QP Classic I'm always paired with a DVA, Roadhog, or Ball and I regularly have to play Rein because my tank partner is mor concerned with getting kills and PotG. Shoot one time recently I was playing Mei with a Ball and a DVA ON DEFENSE. I was the person STRUGGLING to check their tanks while DVA and Ball are trying to take out in the back supports, they were dieing every dive cause the Ops picked Ana, Brigitte. Then what really pissed me off, I walled off the Orisa from their team, somone else got finished her while I Iced up (One healer was dead and Rein was on the other side of the wall. The ball rolls doesnt even go for the slam, just lays his mines and gets to be PoG cham cause get 3 people walked into his mines because they spent nee We wouldve won that push, but it was Ball, Mei with no cooldowns, and a Zenny vs Rein, Ana, and Brigitte. We got STOMPED

Idk if anyone commented this or maybe it's well enough known, I'm no pro at this game so idk. but an echo tip that helped me was to bait her sticky bombs, shield them so they stick to your shield up in the air, then drop your shield before they explode, so you block em without damaging your shield.

Obscure asf but if you place your shield ~ 1 torb high and crouch you can dodge direct rip tires and dva bombs (it doesn’t work upwards)

On the Dva tip it’s said that you need to take the shield immediately to start the cooldown but can you just walk trough the shield to kill Dva?
