This Sim decided to adopt 6 children in a 1 bedroom starter home, we've got to fix this... ➤ Visit my website for my Twitter, Twitch, other channels and more! My Website: jamesturner.yt
The household is now called 2nd chance at love because Asher has decided to go the foster route and give all the children he adopts a 2nd chance at a loving family
@@kikoibuilds if I remember correctly all the households in the world he took off the gallery to fill the world since sims mechanics didn't naturally do that (now it has natural story progression so it will) So it's just a random gallery guy he downloaded already named 2nd chance at love, who then decided, with sims story progression, he would only adopt children. Never get in a relationship, never marry, never move out, never get pets. Just... kids It's awesome 🤣
He found love through children. I imagine now he actually just doesn’t care about finding a partner and just wants to give these kids the best chance at life he can. Then, he meets a cafe barista at the regular coffee shop he buys his boss coffee, and the barista develops a crush, and Hallmark shenanigans happen before a happily ever after
Now that you mention it, there are exactly 7 filled slots in that household now that James has turned off adoption and having babies for everyone in his bigwallet save. Meaning, the 8th slot could still be for the future spouse 😂
@@irishduchess7577 I would love to see a Let’s Play like that. Can you imagine? A joined family where Dad has 8. Mom has 10? How would you handle that one?
"The house is still ugly- but! It looks like the same house!" says the renovator. Asher approves, giving 5 stars. "I grew up in this house. I love its ugliness! Thank you for keeping its essence so my hoard of children can enjoy the same experience I did!"
I'm sorry but no (he says 2mo later). The Sims 4 are already filled with ugly houses, and I think what James did to it made it uglier. It would have made more sense to give each sim their own room if they were older and Asher still want them to live with him. It's big without much detail, which did on purpose so not to waste time on something he would never play. Is this house on the gallery yet? I would love to try to make this house more desirable (from anyone), with the same budget. Idk why I felt the need to air my grievances but I did 🙃 sorry
That has been the frustrating part of neighborhood stories that all these sims have toddlers and kids and no stuff or spaces for them. I have to keep going and renovating.
honestly would be fun to see Breanne become friends with one of the kids, that way this family is forever tied to the Bigwallets! (I mean they're already iconic but..) lovely video James, I'm glad Asher and his family were saved
@@LoriHorta I like to think that Hazel came back to the house, saw that the dad got rid of the arcade she put in, and then forcibly put it back in haha. Sure it might not be timeline accurate, but Hazel is a bit of a time anomaly being alive while Reginald was still a baby lol
I really hope the creator of Asher sees this, I highly doubt this is what they were thinking when they made him but hey, he’s got lots of love now haha
Same, my parents had 4 of us, plus there was usually an extra cousin or friend or two over as well, we only had a 3 seater couch and 2 armchairs, being the youngest I was usually on floor 😂 I'm still more comfortable sitting on the floor most days too!
Has a decently sized, empty front porch. Squeezes chess table into hallway. Also, I'd enjoy Breanne befriending one of Asher's toddlers. And since I think Reg and Asher are friends, that makes sense. Bring that chaos into the family. Can always use more chaos.
I both love and hate that this Sim adopted 6 kids! The game is so goofy. Thanks for fixing the house, I felt bad for his kids every time this guy came up in the game lol.
So I spent all day yesterday playing Sims... the first time I've done that in years! I had to make "Asher", but he is living in this starter home. So far he's adopted 4 children, the last 2 are now toddlers and are twins (yep... adopted 2 on the same day and made them look as alike as I could). To make more space, Asher finished the basement, as you'd do to make extra bedrooms in a small house. It's crowded and busy... but so far, everyone's happy most of the time. I had such a good time! Thanks for the idea, James! 🥰
Thank you for being so motivational with your videos! Since watching your videos I’ve become more creative with my own game play and building etc! Love your videos so much!
I love this. I do the same thing sometimes when random sims adopt too many kids. But there was one lot where 3 adults moved into a micro home I had built so I demolished it but it wasn’t worth very much so I couldn’t afford to replace it. So they ended up with an empty lot. Then later when I went to check on them, 2 of the adults had moved but the guy that was still there had adopted 3 kids, but apparently not gotten a job. I decided at that point it was his problem but I did turn off the adoption option for him.
I would love to see james play this family for one episodes, as a manage a household of 6 kids with 0 budget challenge. Maybe he could get this poor guy promoted lol.
Love the idea of helping this poor man out lmao. Heart in the right place, but he didn’t have the home for it until now. Although I gotta say, these quick homes lately haven’t been… the best layout wise😬 lol
I would love to see more of these where you go through the bigwallet save families homes!!! Please also finish Columns house. Please please. Addison's grandma needs a cool grandma witch house ❤️
Its weird to see you renovate this while I'm playing my family in it! I have also made renovations as my family grew rather than move them to a new lot (I built their dream home, it's just a bit out of their budget so I'm still here!). I used a floorplan website for inspiration but made some changes to the ideas the website provided so that I could add to the house already on the lot rather than demolish and start over, kind of like what you've done (only of course, you didn't use a floor plan to draw inspiration from). It's interesting to see how yours turned out compared to what I've done!
Having 3 double beds and 2 twin beds is genius because then when all the kids age up there will still be enough places for them all to sleep. And the tent in babies room means when they are a toddler they’ll have a place to sleep
I remember when James and Gluon lived in this house. That was the day, Gluon did his make up reviews, James were dancing in the background, not always clothed. It was the good old days!
@@michaelaheb I bet the house smells amazing! My son asked me to bake some cookies and I’ve been mulling over what kind. Leaning towards my vanilla bean sugar cookies using autumn themed cookie cutters.
Personally, my anxiety was through the roof, as semaJ hadn't given the baby, and the two toddlers 'proper' beds to move up into lol, once they weren't toddlers and babies anymore, which meant that once they'd aged up, they would not have had beds to sleep in, and even though it's just Sims (and not real), my anxiety would not have settled until I'd sorted that (if this was my build) ... But then it turned out that one person that semaJ had accounted for wasn't even part of that household !!! So it's all good, as there were three doubled that two could share, so everybody would have had a bed (and yes, I am fully aware that I am weird)🤣😂😅🙄😒😵💫🥴😁😉
Watching you go through the *thinking* part of HOW to create - and then furnish - the remodel, was awesome. **thumbs up** How much money did you have left after all that? And the house even looks playable!
