Banana peels don't do anything to whiten your teeth. Many articles recommend rubbing the peel against your teeth for a few minutes. While this could scrub off some surface stains, it's no more effective than brushing your teeth. Banana peels have no special whitening properties.

I know one home remedy to clean your yellowish teeth Take 1 small spoon of salt nd turmeric and 1 drop of mustard oil nd brush your teeth with this mixture. Hopefully you'll get better result.

@@afsana3579 If you have gaps between your teeth, you should get dental braces. After using braces for like a year, there won't be any gaps. Time period depends on your gaps.

I find that brushing with a small amount of baking soda paste (baking soda and water) once a week whitens my teeth. I don't believe that teeth need to be super shiny bright white.

I've seen many videos advocating rubbing of banana peels o teeth to make them look white. Although my teeth are not exactly yellow, I've tried rubbing and scrubbing my teeth with banana peel daily for more than a month to make them look white but the colour of my teeth remain the same. I will continue trying for some more time ,then ofcourse I'll give up if I don't get the results.

Baking soda and salt is all I’ve used in 50 years, the hygienist asked me what toothpaste I used, my answer, included the electric toothbrush for the last 10 years. Her comment, Remarkable.

@@0xdef 2 Tbs soda, 1 Tbs salt in small open top container, mix well. Dampen brush and load it with the mixture. Must admit it really doesn’t taste good but you soon get used to it. An electric brush is advised, but not necessary.

I guess that is because bananas contain a small quantity of ammonia and ammonia is known to be a bleaching agent.

The best way for white teeth is avoiding carbs.. have been carnivore for over 2 years and my teeth have improved so much, no sensitivity, whiter, don't use toothpaste anymore, just brush once a day and floss when required

Wouldn't your saliva wash the banana paste off your teeth. I brush with tumeric and toothpaste. I also heard that brushing with charcoal whitens teeth
