Just finished listening on my chosen podcast player- wow! There are so many little gems of advice in this interview. For example, I always took for granted the influence a particular geographical location has on creative output. But it sounds like a city or any kind of hub has a network, or a “vibe” that plays into how you write/create, and even how you see yourself!

Yeah you could think of it that way. The lines between pop and country get blurred and same with location now more than ever so "rules" only go so far but yeah. The point about how Nashville and country view the priority of a song (melody or story) is a little different than how pop and LA will, in some cases.
