@@sabrinasampson439 for anyone having this issue make sure you set the icc profile in photoshop or whatever program you are using to the correct ink set you are using. Light blue ink not sticking is the issue that this solves but other colours can have this same issue to. Hope this helps

After many attempts with different temperatures the transfer still sticks to paper and takes the color off the fabric. I am working with tech support to hopefully resolve this. We have tried temps at 338 for 30, 372 for 30 and 392 for 15 seconds. All the same issue. Anxious to hear back on their findings as to why a 100% white cotton shirt won’t take the subli-light no cut forever! 🤞🏼
I am having the same issue have been emailing them back and forth and its not sticking it looks like tar and only half goes on. I stuck extra stuff under the shirt to lift it higher and applying an extreme amount of pressure seems to let it stick a little bit better but still had to press again after peeling so it wasnt so sticky. That worked a little bit better but this is harder paper to work with. 375 at 30 sec with a crap load of pressure seemed to work best but not perfect.
I love my SG 1000 I bought it through Heat Press Nation. Finally getting the hang f using this wonderful machine. I purchased Forever 202 and noticed it is peeling. I bet I did something wrong????
The most common cause of Subli-Flex 202 not staying on the garment is not peeling the carrier properly. Subli-Flex 202 is a cold peel product and is very sensitive to peel temps. It's important that it be COMPLETELY cool or even cold when you peel the carrier. Be sure to carefully remove the garment from the press and place it on a cool surface. If necessary, use a fan to cool your garment down faster. Hi there! We have only tested Subli-Light with Sawgrass Inks, therefore, we can not guarantee it will work with other printers/ink, however, some people have had success with different sublimation printers :)

I realise Subli-Flex used sublimation and JetPro can use a standard inkjet printer, but I'd like to know which gives the most professional results, please.
Hello Martin, we're really sorry that our team has not responded to you but since I see your request here, I'm be happy to help. The two products you're mentioning are meant for two different printers and color of substrates. The Forever Subli-Flex 202 is a sublimation transfer paper that allows you to transfer images onto dark color fabrics. The Neenah Jet-Pro Soft Stretch is an inkjet transfer paper that allows you to transfer images onto white or light color fabrics. These two products give you two totally different quality results. The Jet-Pro Soft Stretch being that it is a light transfer paper will melt the image into the fibers of the fabric giving you a "screen print" like quality whereas the Subli-Flex 202 much like all other dark transfer papers will have a thicker and more vinyl-like texture on the shirt. Both transfer papers serve two different purposes. I'd say depending on the printer you currently own, please stick with the correct transfer papers. For example, if you only own an inkjet printer, please go with Neenah Jet-Pro Soft Stretch and Neenah 3G Jet Opaque Inkjet Transfer Papers. If you have a sublimation printer and not an inkjet printer, then you can go with Forever Subli-Light and Forever Subli-Flex 202 or Siser EasySubli Vinyl.

Yes, I understand each paper type is for a different printing method (as I mentioned in my post) but as I own both types of printers (SG400 and a Canon inkjet) I was wondering which of the two would be the best to go for. Seems that Jet-Pro would give the softest finish, but would that also be true of the Jet-Pro opaque version for darker colours? Wouldn't that have to have a slightly thicker finish to it? @@LeakedScientologyDox Understood. If you have both Canon and SG400 printers, you do have the option of using either or. In general, the light transfer papers area always going to have the most professional quality since you are melting the transfer into the shirt. Dark transfers behave differently since you cannot do the same method. Since they have to be applied in the opposite position, the film needs to be rather thicker, and completely opaque. This means contour cutting is usually recommended. For light transfers, I'd recommend sticking with the Neena Jet-Pro Soft Stretch as it is in my opinion the best quality product we offer for white or light T-shirts. Forever Subli-Light does feel better than Neenah Jet-Pro SS since it does not require any trimming at all and the transfer itself is even thinner than the Neena Jet-Pro SS. You may want to consider using Forever Subli-Light but I've noticed that it does not transfer all the colors correctly. This is something stated in Forever's product video. As for dark, we would recommend going with either Siser EasySubli or Forever Subli-Flex 202 over any inkjet dark transfer paper. The reason is that you have the ability to transfer separated graphics with either product. The issue with inkjet dark transfer paper is that you have to peel it before you heat press it and because of that, it's very difficult to transfer images that are separated in multiple pieces such as letters and numbers. Siser EasySubli has the same quality and feel as inkjet dark transfer paper but paired with the Siser EasySubli mask, you can transfer almost any detailed or separated design. Forever Subli-Flex 202 much like heat transfer vinyl is already pre-masked which means you just need to contour cut your design and transfer it onto your shirt and every detail and separation will transfer together. Please note that neither Subli-Flex 202 or EasySubli Vinyl will give you the same quality as Neenah Jet-Pro Soft Stretch or Forever SubliLight. Due to the nature of the product, it will feel more similar to heat transfer vinyl on your shirt.
Hi there! This material would not be recommended on stretch fabric as it will distort the image. True sublimation (no cutting or weeding) would be recommended instead.
Waisted a few shirts from a client the paper sticked and I tried peeling away as shown on the video and instructions that came in the pack.. I have the sawgrass sg500. Valuable ink gone as well the shirts! just upsetting.. Anyone have this issue??
Sorry about that. As with any new product, we recommend doing a few test pressings to hone your settings. The instructions in this video and on our website are the manufacturer's suggested settings, but may need to be adjusted depending on your heat press, climate, and other variables.
The samething happen to me, i been pressint shirts for years, i try this new paper for cotton i set the time, the heat and i waIst my time, my shirt, my money, This paper just dont work as suppost to be. HORRIBLE. I DID HOT PEEL, I DID COLD PEEL, I DID EVERYTHING AND JUST DONT' WORK I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT DID GUY DID IN THIS VIDEO OR WHAT HE USE FOR PRESS. My printer start jamin and did not print my last 2 sheets and block it self.
Yes, you can use the Sawgrass SG500 or SG1000 with Sublijet-UHD ink with Forever Subli-Light. Chromablast ink would not be compatible with Forever Subli-Light.
No, this product is compatible with any sublimation printer. We only carry Sawgrass printers, so that's the only brand we are able to support with this product.
Hi Retha, you would need to have sublimation ink in order for this to work. If you have an Epson WF7720 inkjet printer, then you can use our Paropy Light Pro or Neenah Jet-Pro Soft Stretch Transfer Paper

I can't really say how well it will work with an Epson printer since Forever has engineered these papers for Sawgrass. normally, you'd use their forever profile which prints a lot more ink than your default settings do. So if you expect to try the Forever Subli-Light paper with your Epson sublimation printer, please look for an internal setting that would print a lot more ink or else you may run into issues transferring.
Transfers peeling are almost always due to insufficient pressure. We recommend increasing the pressure on your heat press. For help getting the right pressure, you might want to try the paper pressure test: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XPLBMK1lJHU.html
This is usually the result of the garment not being allowed to cool completely off of the heat press. It is very important that this material be removed from the heat press, then allowed to cool 100% prior to peeling. You can use a fan if necessary to help speed up the cooling process.
@@HeatPressNation allowing the transfer to cool down 100% after pressing makes the paper stick to the garment and doest remove completely. What would be a different method?
I love this digital paper. However, I sometimes get white residue on my shirt after peeling the paper off the shirt. How do I avoid that to happen in the future and how do I remove the white residue from the shirt?
Notice how they won't respond to any comments that are not directly making them look good? This is why I won't give them any more of my buisness. Even if you specifically say hey I just bought this item from you and it's not working out for me, they will just ignore your comment. And when you call their support they have to call you back which in my experience took days on a faulty heat press they sold me
I’ve tried several times to use this now. Every time the paper sticks or I guess melts onto the shirt. What am I doing wrong. Pressing at the stated temp and for about 25 seconds. I’ve thrown out several garments now and getting frustrated.
This product is for full-tone vector graphics only. It's not suitable for photos, light colors, and gradients. If your graphic has any of these elements, that could be causing the issue. You also want to make sure the lower platen has been pre-heated. The transfer should be peeled 2 seconds after opening the press in a single, smooth motion. Sorry, but I'm not sure. We print exclusively with Sawgrass sublimation printers. These printers come with a print management software that processes colors and renders them properly. So we don't deal with color values/percentages.
It should work for cotton blends. The image may be an issue, as this product is only for full-tone vector graphics. It's not suitable for photographs and light colors. I just got my sawgras sg500, it came of course with the regular sawgrass sublimation ink, my question is, do I have to change the ink or just buy the forever subli light or Siser easysubli paper?
Few things that might've contributed to that: - insufficient pressure or temperature - using a garment that has already been washed, especially with fabric softener - waiting too long after printing to press the item (should be done immediately; transfers cannot be stored) - neglecting the finishing step/re-press
@@HeatPressNation well I have followed these instructions to a t and still get it peeling after washing. I've ruined 4 new shirts by trying to do this.
What kind of cover did you use to achieve a gloss finish? I recognize the parchment but have never seen the second one. Also are there any guides for the home altered epson eco tanks? The presets for the sawgrass are neat but I can't afford one of those at the moment, and have an eco tank. I've been experimenting with the settings for the regular paper, but wouldn't know where to even start with this.

I having major issues with this... if I can get it to press right the feel is awesome but its peeling in some spots and not in others mine came with NO INSTRUCTIONS I bout 60 sheets of this and Z's pre-press settings I use and it does not work mine barely even transfer at those settings I tried every heat press setting and it hasn't worked! I'm so pissed because I know no one will respond!

@@HeatPressNation I have a portable vector heat press 10"x10" so I know it's my heat press because it doesn't give me even heat. So my only question that I have that I hope you can answer this for me which type of heat press machine is best for this particular transfer paper will it be a swing away heat press or a clamshell heat press. I want to get the walapress from y'all website but you don't have any in stock as of now and with me running a business I need one like now so will Bettersub press work its gets up to 480⁰ I was looking at the Tusy clamshell but its doesn't heat up to that temp only 430⁰ i think. Now I know the settings and I know the tutorials I've done all of that but what I have found out with y'all particular transfer paper it depends like you say on your press I just want to make sure a clamshell will have better or medium pressure then a swing away or does it matter
Forever Subli-Light has great washability. At ISS 2019, Chris from Forever showed us a shirt that had been washed well over a dozen times and it still looked great. And while Forever Subli-Light is great, no transfer paper is going to beat sublimation on 100% polyester. That's the top choice for longevity and durability.
Well it works perfect until you wash it, following their instructions and everything peels off. Just a waste of money!!! Really not happy with this product!

Let’s see if I get a reply to this quest’. I’ve purchased and used this paper (forever subli-light) with a SG500, after watching this video. As impressive as the video appears, the end result was a complete failure; as the ink did not sublimate into the cotton material, rather, it peeled off after one wash. Now I left with a pack of FOREVER SUBLI-LIGHT transfer paper that DOES NOT WORK. Perhaps someone will be able to advise me how to print successfully onto 100% cotton using this paper which you promote and advertise and useable!!!!

We can't confirm since we do not use other brand sublimation printers. The reason this product works well with Sawgrass sublimation printers is due to the special "forever" profile created by the Forever team. This allows the ink to print a lot more than usual so that this process works correctly. If you use another sublimation printer, the regular print settings will not lay enough ink to allow this product to work 100%. My suggestion is to just give it a shot. You can always purchase 10 sheets from our site to test.
This is a true 1 step paper and does not leave any background residual film as other light transfer papers do. Only the image will transfer onto the shirt and you will not feel anything around it.
