If they hadn't shot Dean and made a run for it, yes they would of spent the rest of their lives looking over their shoulders. However since the remainder of their lives would be so short they would not suffer long.

lol im with bobby, they die sooooo much and come back i think eventually the reapers arn't even gonna bother showing up X). why would they everytime they do somethbody, or something brings them back, even cas XD
