The best teaching I have heard in a long time. Katia you have a strong anointing on you. Our Father is setting women free, he has an awesome plan for us in these last days. Satan has kept many of us immobilised....but not any more. Praise the Lord!

I’m a little late on this one. I’ll neither agree or disagree with your view and explanation, simply because I don’t know. The question of women having leadership or authority over men is one I’ve recently started to explore. I will suggest, from a practical standpoint, no matter what side of the argument you are on, it is more beneficial to go to the Bible with a question rather than go to the Bible to justify a belief. I also think it’s better sometimes, like in my case, just to be honest and say “I don’t know”, rather than just picking one side of the debate to sit on.

Equal in value and position before God, but not equal in roles. If what you are saying is true, then why didn't even one woman write one book of scripture? Why were none of the 12 Apostles that Jesus Christ chose women? Why weren't any of the Priests or Levites in OT women? Why were none of the first Deacons in Acts 6 female? Why does Scripture require that church overseers be the husband of one wife and that he rule his own house well? I could go on, but it is because God is making it clear to us that He only allows qualified men to have biblical authority in the church, and unqualified men and women (who are always unqualified to lead) to submit to them as they follow the Lord..."Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves"...Hebrews 13:17

Then you would be going against Christ and his teachings. Lots of people today who don’t study biblical history and also don’t read the true bible (KJV) are truly confused and even question the apostles, specially Paul because he wrote most of the New Testament. But an important lesson, is that you can’t separate the apostles from Christ or Christ from his apostles. If you tell women to go ahead and preach you simply are biblically ignorant Sir.
@jaimemartinez5025
@jaimemartinez5025 5 лет назад
Not true sir. God is over Christ, Chist is over the church ( true believers) and man is the head of his wife.

Please understand that using the first person present active indicative to suggest that the command is not universal is a very weak argument. Even if she is right in her conclusion on the issue, this Greek ‘form’ should not be emphasised this much, especially not as a ‘key’ in understanding the passage- Beware! I’m not a scholar by any means, but even my basic understanding of Greek tells me that it’s a big leap to suggest that this is crucial in understanding the text

And a woman can also be a prophet. Do u think maybe she csn be in leadership?
@fredrostarr6353
@fredrostarr6353 4 года назад
Prophet in what way? One who FOREtells events revealed by God that one has no way of knowing naturally? Or FORTHtelling the words of another, which prophecy means? Either way, Eph 2:19 begins the teaching that the household of God had the apostles and prophets as it's foundation and Christ as the cornerstone. Any new prophet suggests that the foundation is still being laid. I think that conflicts with Scripture. So, no. No more prophets, Male or female. And God set the leadership of the church on the shoulders of men as clearly taught by the apostle in 1 Timothy 2

@@fredrostarr6353 again did yu read 1st Corinthians chapter 14 . all of the chapter or not? It is to brothers and sisters . and it is when the church is together. In context that isveasy to read. And in context the woman can give a revelation a teaching. Etc. There is simply no other way to read this in the whole of the chapter . to isolate a couple of verses is to twist scripture.

@@zerosparky9510 Yes. 3 times today, at least. Including verse 34-35, which call for women to be silent in the church. But if you want to sit under a woman's teaching and preaching, feel free. But Scripture is clear. I'm done repeating myself and God (since Paul wrote the epistles under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit) if you're committed to following your own understanding.

The point your trying to make about this issue not being a universal command contradicts what Paul states to Timothy later in this letter. 1Tim.3:14 I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these things to you so that, 15if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth. (So why would you try to show this is a temporary command when scripture clearly states otherwise)?

Isn't all Scripture given by the inspiration of the HOLY SPIRIT? Therefore,Paul's instructions, has the AUTHORITY of GOD HIMSELF. Women and men are equal in Christ,but they have different roles in Christ as well in marriage. The real problem, is that christians don't believe the Bible, nor obey its Authority. First century christian got it wrong,two thousand years later,here we haven't learn a thing!
@oliviaanderson1441
@oliviaanderson1441 5 лет назад
That does not mean that everything ever said is an instruction for all people at all times. For example, the instructions Jesus have to to disciples to wait for him in Jerusalem. Obviously, that doesn't mean all Christians must now go and wait for Jesus in Jerusalem. The instruction given to greet each other with a holy kiss is other example of a instruction given at one point that most people understand to be for that time and that people. That doesn't mean it is not inspired. It does not mean it doesn't have meaning that can be applied to today. The idea and principle being applied can still be used to influence our behavior, however, in greeting and treating each other with cordiality and love.

You see what happens when we get our roles mixed up? It's women who you'll get most of this pushback from, too. Look back at the Fall -the Lord said that Adam would be the leader but his wife would seek to rule over him. This is just more of the same.

One of the first things, she says is that they changed the word silence to quietness, correcting the scholars who translated the KJV Bible. All modern translations are corrupt. KJV is the received text handed down from the apostles themselves. This person has no right to correct the KJV translators who were far more Holy, Godly and multilingual than scholars of today. They did translate the KJV correctly. That’s like saying God failed to preserve and pass down his word to us correctly. Then she says Paul’s teaching were not a universal instruction but the Apostle Paul very clear on this subject. Women were NOT to teach because false teachers were coming into the church and the first people that would be deceived were women. With all respect, this person has only probably had a few semesters of Hebrew & Greek as opposed to the true scholars who translated the KJV. They were literally geniuses in Hebrew and Greek. It all comes down to pride. How many women did Jesus ordain? That’s right, zero. And it’s not that men are more important than women, not at all, but that God has order in his kingdom.
