maybe i should have said to auto the lowest minion like ruler does to stagger their HP, but he isn't 'afk'ing'...like i talked about for the other waves, to make it as difficult as possible for kai'sa/yuumi you slow down the wave as much as possible...sure, ruler can hit the wave even more but you're not denying as much as possible...and as far as being a 'bad clip' to show you why you don't leash, what happened in the first few levels of this game?

He definitely still got prio as a result. Kai'sa out pushes varus this early, so it was good for him to get a couple autos on the wave before she could respond.

Being there earlier gives him the territory advantage as the enemy would have to walk up to him to contest which enables him to push first. Any tiny advantage counts thus starting the snowball effect.

Sit back, farm under turret and wait for a gank

Start Q + Hob, learn to play at max range instead of randomly walking up, play with a premade: the very basics. This guy was autofilled AND drunk

You don't understand though. If you leash even 1 auto, you are already at least 5 seconds late to lane. This means that if the enemy starts pushing minions right away, they get level 2 guaranteed and can zone you off or engage on you. You think that you don't lose anything only because you don't lose xp (which you might still lose if they zone you). You still lose the level 2 push and the pressure. If the enemy knows what they're doing, you are guaranteed to sit under tower for the next few minutes, behind in xp and contesting minions to the tower, eating free poke while trying to farm. Junglers won't die to camps, all junglers can full clear with full hp since they introduced the jungle pets. Nobody leashes in masters+ because that's legit the best way to lose lane from minute 1

good question, kai'sa and yuumi should be playing just out of range of varus/lulu after losing priority (because of what i talked about in the video)...you accept at that stage you've lost that prio battle so preserving HP is key...matchups mean nothing until high elo - play teemo adc in low elo you can carry by knowing HOW to play the role

@@Eagzv9 Bit late but I have to ask, if the Kai'sa and Yuumi stayed safe under turret, what should they be doing? Assuming Varus wouldn't push the wave under turret to give CS, as you mentioned, should they wait for a jungle gank this early?

@@jvd0665 they just have to chill nothing else to do, they will still be able to play the game it's just that the first few waves will be difficult

@@Eminmaravanna your jungler can clear camps without a leash, so why waste resources? you can be doing one thing (win level 1) and your jungler can STILL DO his camps...you just saw a world champion ADC do this but still don't believe it 😕 watch any of the bot lanes at worlds, i dont think i saw any of them leash even if their jungler started bot side

You just said it yourself...this only applies because he is a world champion or pro (likely with a pro support). Otherwise the risk of potentially setting jg back and thus rest of team might not be worth.

and by leashing in ranged vs ranged you can easily lose prio (if enemy bot doesn't leash) and your first 2-3 levels are made more difficult - also run the risk of getting brush cheesed by getting to lane late, a 'selfish' level 1 can set up laning phase

@@Eagzv9 all subjective and not consistent. If you don't anticipate a brush cheese when you don't see the enemy that is on you. Approach lane with your support and be ready to trade. Early botlane prio is worthless because first scuttle is worthless. As an ADC the first fight you should be programmed for is drake at 5min. In case people don't know this already I'll add it. First wave spawns at 1:05 and reaches lane at 1:37. Every wave from there takes about 32 seconds to get to the middle of the lane. If you leave a leash no later than 1:37 you will always at the very worst case still get full XP from first wave.

@@haydenlangholz9298 you get minion XP if you are within 1600 units of a minion dying...and more important than getting the level 2 first is knowing how to play the level 2 regardless. If you get the push, fight. If you don't, back off and stay in xp range. You don't lose anything by backing off pre 5 minutes. Once again, scuttle isn't important so there isn't anything early you need prio for. Even if your jungler gets invaded botside super early you will always be able to respond first. The whole reason this start works is because you have kaisa yuumi. Anything with a better level 1 trade will punish them for advancing so far into enemy minion wave.

There is 2 ideals time to back when it comes to wave state. First one is after crashing the minion into the ennemy tower, because that way they lose xp & wave will slow push back into you. Second is like this exemple, when they ennemy wave is bigger than yours and you can set up a freeze. As you can see they have a lot more minions than us, and next wave is far away. So if we back in this situation, our minions will die (which is good) but the ennemy wave will most likely crash at least partially (which is not good). Varus has decent wave clear, but he's already behind on tempo as you can see Kai'sa & Yummy are already running back down. So the best thing he can do is slightly tin the wave and recall as is. That way he's still denying a lot of cs from Kai'sa because their minions kill ours a lot faster, while making sure it's not enough to crash on the turret. Because he recalls faster than if he'd try to crash it he'll also not be behind on tempo compared to ennemy bot. And the wave will be in a good position for him when he does come back. Close to his tower, lots of minions to collect. If you want to understand this concept more, look for wave management videos, particularly top videos as it's the lane that is using them the most.

​@@winkyb2868try leblanc adc, with fleet footwork, you have 2 escapes with w-r also great dmg early with abilities, in late you can w forward hit 2 times and then go back and wait to do it again.. it's a great pick for me and i have positive winrate with her

What are you still doing bot at 15? It drives me crazy that adc's won't realize how useless they are in a sidelane after the first few towers fall.
