or luck... sometimes the ai fight eachother and give you lots of time to build... i havent watched the whole video and i havent played this game for long... but it loks like he using the cheesiest of all strategies... just defend and let them waste resources on eachother... they will use their money on dying troops... so sooner or later you will come out on top... just match what ever they are sending at you and match what ever gold income they have = win.... pve games are stupid... learn the mechanics... abuse them...
+Option428 yeah that was definitely not ffa. And yeah you have to use cheese strats like this if you're going to vs 11 insane computers. Just makes for a boring game tbh.
50:55 i love this moment, was the acolyte just there searching for a yard to place his new kingdom, and at the same time an complete army of one of 11 kingodms looking for the head of his king just passing in front of his eyes being totally freeze was so funny lmao
FunnyWarcraft3 hi , i want say u thanks for all your videos 💓💓💓💓💓 .warcraft 3 was my first game what i start play like child ...i was really bigger noob in childhood i never kill computer xD but i love this game now i feel good when i see your funny challenges p.s. sorry for bad english ... i,m czech but i want write it u ^^
Yea, I've seen this with AOE2 as well. The basic strategy is to build your base somewhere inaccessible to the computers because of flawed programming. Then slowly build up until you are all powerful and the enemies are running out of resources. Certainly, it takes some skill to pull this off depending on how many insane computers you put in there, but it's not as impossible as people might think.
I think your perception of skill is just fucked, 90% of people you see play on RU-vid are good enough to throwdown with other players at a reasonable pace and skill level, but that certainly can't be the norm.
Hey Funnwarcraft3 do you ever consider doing a campaign speedrun or finish campaigns with an alternative way? (Example; finish campaign with tower rushes only, etc.)
I still remember the good old days of ghoul spamming with maxed Dreadlord and Death Knight auras. The side effect was never having the problem of running out of wood.
I don't use WHOSYOURDADDY when I play single player campaign i can't enjoy the game HAHAHA I only use warpten and greedisgood to keep summoning infinite troops to the enemy base until they're defeated
When i was still a kid. There were no internet in our house and i used to play these games in my brothers pc with other tds. This took. Me back to memory lane. I didnt know until now that this was hard to do.
every time I 1v11 insane computers they rush me hard and I'm having trouble keeping them busy or just plain avoiding them. not sure how they simply do not have an interest in you and just avoid you for sooooooooo long
An Insane Computer gets an economic advantage as he mines twice more than you per peasant.. However prolonging the game until they are out of resources is the correct strategy!! Very impressive approach.. Map with isolated mines on high ground is also necessary! My best accomplishment is 1vs3 on Tutrle Rock with UD, but 11 vs you is something special!! Great job!
Haven't played this game in years and I can't believe how it still hasn't changed in my view. A war of attrition strategy and guerrilla tactics would definitely be the best strat for me in these scenarios but the problem would be the execution since the AIs could quickly pump in their forces early game. Just for those faq comments that have been annoying me: Why no night elves? cuz it's random and he got lucky no this is not a free for all match where the AIs kill each other then he sweeps in for the win stupid AIs are the reason why this strat of hiding between trees works. Usually the AIs attack your outposts first before rushing your main. the lack of tree clearing by the insane AI is because there were no targets to hit by near trees, the lack of troops somehow helped. with NEs it could be possible to lose cover quickly but flames strikes aren't really used by bots to target debris. well the first few mins is debatable but the rest of the vid was plain awesome execution of good strat. keep the vids up!
I don't know how many years it has been since I have played these but damn honestly makes me want to play them again. I played them all since there release dates and starcraft since n64 lol
BLIZZARD PLS! Warcraft IV! We NEED this! Also.. give the AI the capability of removing trees. Virtually all races have something to cut down trees quicker than waiting for peons etc. to cut them down. The removing of trees at 46:26 seems to just be a spell cast by the enemy blood mage hero meant for damaging units, not removing trees. Or is that my mistake? In any case the AI doesn't seem to really have a notion of things that are in the way, and what to do about it. I don't mean to belittle the skills of this player, though. It's awesome. I just think the AI has too many flaws that become apparent when you play against it, eventhough it is otherwise ruthless.
it's very hard and costful to make good AI's in games with many variables like wc3. It's not like the poker bots or chess bots that wins every game because you're very limited in what different choices you can make. Here everything can happen and Blizzard has to know about the different strategies that comes up, before the game is even released in order for them to make an AI to counter them. And it's very hard for them to know what kind of strategies the players come up with after the game is released.
I think the undead army as a whole is more efficient, though, buildings are easier to set up, nerubian zigs are hella useful, best lumber unit (that can be trained at home) in the game, DK death coil / obsidian statues / cannibalism, human's thing is squishy + manpower, not good when you're trying to conserve resources across the board
did i get this right? he waited for all of the camps to use up all their resources before killing them off one by one when they dont ahve the resources to make new units? If so thats pretty smart but admittedly anticlimactic
The only way to beat them was to outlast them. Smart enough he played it as defensive as possible spending little resources on gargoyles (best anti air unit) to beat gryphon riderds, wyverns and frost dragons while going undercover most of the time in hidden mines. There's no other strategy possible to go vs 11 insane CPUs
I always loved stealing workers from other factions with banshees to get buildings a d units from other factions, a trick only possible with undead or if you could get the Dark Ranger (the Sylvanas hero can also capture enemy workers) from the hero tavern. Impressive game there mate!
OK just to clarify. The loading screen puts you in one of the middle spawns yet you appear in a corner. Seriously doubting this is against insane but I don't know the differences so idk if you can tell by gameplay.
