Hi, guys. I tried to win 23 insane computers 10-12 times. This is my last try to do this. Now I can declare that it is impossible, because Warcraft 3 does not allow playing with so many bots. Every minute brings more and more lags and at the end you just can't control your army. If Blizzard will fix that, i will do this with pleasure.
I actually believe this lag MIGHT come from faulty Night Elf AI involving wisps somehow. Try it with 23 Insane computers that are only the other 3 races!
i think he can avoid the place were mostly unit are surround after that build more tower to buying more time to attack other base by another route (if he do like that this video may be about 3 hour i think)
For all the people commenting he should kill off some bases before lag. I can see you have no knowledge regarding how AI operates. If he attacked a base it would be suicide. It was the right decision to save resources and troops to resource starve his opponents. The reason he did not kill off certain neutrals and the reason he built his base so compacted in the corner is to avoid the AI detecting him. And i can see what he was trying to accomplish with the copters and towers, it was a very very smart move. Overall i cannot be certain if he would win even if he plays without the lag but i doubt anyone can think of a better strategy at the moment. Well Played a true gamer indeed.

The classic MK/PD/AM trio, flying machines, tower defense, and intense FPS lag remind me of my dad and I playing Warcraft 3 on our LAN connection when I was a kid. Those are great memories, although we never tried 2v22 insane lol. I'll check out your Reforged edition of this challenge when I get some time, keep up the good work! :)
Warcraft 3 has a well known memory leak with units. Even if units die, their categories still exists. A custom map with an dying unit trigger can fix this leak in JASS.
Well a lot of memory leaks exist. Back in the days (14 years ago) when I was creating custom maps... 20% of my time was reducing/removing sources of memory leaks. Groups and points are the heaviest.
I’m 20 mins in and the whole enemy team hasn’t even attempted to invade his base. What am I missing here. I feel like 1 Insane enemy is invading me within the first 5 mins of play.
If you're having trouble with lags, try disabling creeps from the minimap. It always helps. Here's me braggin' about being able to defeat two insane computers with any race without losing a single unit, and here's this guy defeating 23 insane computers by himself. That's why I love WarCraft 3, you have infinite power, limited only by your noobness. Also you're amazing, I will always follow you ^-^
I feel bad for asking this, but what mod or whatever allows you to see so much more on the screen than normal? Looks like just higher resolution but changing that doesn't see to affect how much I can see. I've always wants to be able to zoom out a lot more than they allow lol

I used to love playing this computer game. But then various Xbox 360 games came out. Then StarCraft 2 then I ended up not playing that to much after the third expansion pack for that game came out.
Long ago I custom made an OP naga race and would stack 11 AI against it, one map in particular had a narrow Thermopylae chokepoint down which the enemy would constantly be sending forces. It would end up being one continuous massive battle along it where Id never be able to break out due to constant AI reinforcements and eventually the large gold I gave myself to start out would be worn down and theyd win, or lag out. One time I actually broke through the checkpoint, started destroying bases, could have won and BOOM lag crash. Still it was very fun.
If you want to don't have lag, make sure that none of the computers are nightelf. The lag is caused by a glitch in the code that controls the wisps for the computer.
i think blizzard mess up with the 24 players, it really was ok with the originally 12. but what i can see here that it´s too much for the game it almost can run with so many units in the map. In the worst of the cases it can broke the game.
With my old pc(dual core 3,33 ghz intel,4 gb ram,gtx 670)me still got lags in 8 players maps with 1 vs 7 x insane CPUs. With my Quadcore 3570-k and 16 gb ram me got lags too then i start 12 player map with 1 vs 11 insane CPUs. It seems like insane CPUs(especially 23 CPUs)eat too much CPU Power. Possible newer patches can fix this,but i think you need more CPU Power for 1 vs 23 insane CPUs :(
Craftuar i5 3570k and gtx 670 with 16gb of ram is actually pretty great, better than the gt 1030 if anything, even single core performance going up to 3.8 which is also pretty decent, you can play most of the games new games too
Have you tried FFA? It honestly doesn't end up a lagfest at such means of play because computers battle out each other; 1v23 will surely become a lagfest because of 2400 overall units on the playing field. If there is a constant battle, such things won't be an issue so the best you can do at this point might be to try having all computers in a 4v20?
for those who dont know whats happening, its on the part of the processor, the game engine was programmed to only use 1 core, so this is blizzard fault, since they should have updated the game engine to be multi-core, even if it could require completely rewriting the engine code from what i have heard some people say about empire at war derp
there must be some weird glitch on this map where they prioritize creeps over just killing you due to some ratio:player and attacking with level 1 champions
If blizzard somehow makes the game multithreaded, I bet system requirements will shoot up cpu wise and be 64 bit. I want them to add achievements without cheats and give a super ultra mega platinum trophy/achievement for defeating 23 insane ai with each race.
ZaphGaming This is a somewhat new major update that makes the game now playable for 24 players along with some bug fixes and nerfes. This was released around a year or half a year ago, I'm not sure.
So this is the first time I see those bricks borders at the side of the screen, like they are there because its a wide screen. Also, the life bars and mana bars together. What version of the game are you playing at or is there any kind of trick to get this done? Would like an answer from anymore here. Thanks in advance.
There were new patches for WC3 these recent years (after 1.26a which was in 2011). 1.27a was released in the 2016 and slowly getting more updates up to now (1.30.2 currently). --- wow.gamepedia.com/Warcraft_III_patch_information Never really got to install the 1.27 and above patch though, it seems to be region restricted.
Nah this would happen in the original game if it could have 24 players. The game engine just can't handle that much stuff. Anyone who has played a long game of Castle Fight will know this :D

Sorry, but I don't see the point in playing a game that requires the AI to bug out and play so passively. If the AI was playing normally, they would have all invaded within 5 minutes, (i.e. making it impossible to win without an exploit). When I play 1 vs 11 insane, I edit the map to give my hero about 100 tomes (on Ice Crown; tomes start in centre of map, so you still have to run to them). But since all 11 enemies constantly invade, it's still pretty challenging (and fun).
thats the point. its an ai! thats why theres a possibility that it can be won. and he's trying to do that. how is setting a world record pointless? whats pointless though is your thing with all those tomes. since in any way i dont think that gives you skills in beating a real game ai or not.
