1 WEEK, 2 BEARS - Alaska | Black Bear Hunting | Prince William Sound 

During a week long trip in Prince William Sound we brought home TWO very nice spring black bears!
The first stalk went a little rogue thanks to some unfortunate wind direction. We knew going across the cove would put us upwind of the bear, but Jayme was a little anxious about rounding the corner (on land) and her timing.. oh well, lessons learned.
Later that same day we happened to see an even BETTER BEAR, and got an incredible shot on it.
A few evenings later, back at camp (yes, as you could guess a Public Use Cabin) right after dinner, Bailey spotted a bear on the shoreline. He was able to dinghy over without spooking the bear, and drop him.
2 bears = a freezer full of bear bacon, chorizo, and pastrami.. YUM! 🤤
