1 Week Long Haul With Widest Oversize Load I’ve Pulled Yet! 👀

As an old guy that did flatbed work, I have total respect for you taking on this job, and this is why I watch. I noticed you left your Oversize banner and other trash in the truck stop parking lot. Maybe this was an film edit thing and you actually didn't. But the film showed you pulling out of the lot and those things just sitting there. Please, don't be one of those truckers.

Hi Becca I was just watching your video on the wide load and noticed your chain box was a mess I used to do wide loads in Australia and I found it easier to place all my chains in the plastic oil containers (empty of course) with their length and breaking capacity written on the outside all that is needed is for you to cut from the handle to the spout out so the chain fits in also make them easy to store and carry from box to load it keeps them neat in box

its really encouraging to see women in trucking, motivates me even more to persue my dream of becoming a truck driver

its a real joy to watch you Becca you driving all over the USA picking up and dropping over loads with your 2 four legged trucking mates

Going by the title I was expecting like a 16 or 20 wide, but everybody has to start somewhere. Probably by now you've found out that trucking is the best job and the worst job, sometimes with only seconds separating the two. One hint- hit some thrift stores and get a pair of cheap coveralls. Get one size larger than you normally wear so they go on and off fast for loading and unloading, a real clothing saver. FR's would be great then you'll be ahead of the game if you ever get a load into or out of a refinery or oilfield site. Best wishes and keep the shiny side up.

They look like they have Poodle in them. One looks like a Groodle (Golden Doodle) - mix of Golden Retriever and Poodle - which is a lovely dog. Affectionate and clever. No trouble. And do not stink. The other dog is very similar, but I am not able to guess the mix. Like them both. Keep on trucking. Amazing how similar it is around the world. Not an easy job - and you are a gypsy - always travelling. Tiring. And always some danger.

I just Retired early after 43 years of all over North America hauling Super B Trailers and Over Sized Loads. Started driving at 17 years old on Super B Trailers in Northern Canada. Up here is pretty but with the mountains steeps hills, long grades, and freezing cold long winters. I'm same size as you and I was a go getter. Off 6 months and I miss it already. Honestly I like the PoV a lot better. It definitely saves time, too, since you don’t have to handle the camera, so it frees your hands up to actually keep rolling with your tie-downs, etc. Seeing what your hands are doing from your point of view tends to be more interesting for viewers. Hi Becca. see ya on a long one load and trip.I used to drive for a firm. The firm was H. Smith & Son we did all the deliveries into europe and as far down as India Pakistan Afghanistan before the war there before we would be gone for up to 3 months at time the war there well going to sit back and see how ya tackle this one. All the long stuff was for British Embassy's you stay careful A kiss to you and ya pals ie dogs.

If your oversize sign keeps breaking just attach the bungie hook to the flag and stretch the other end to a location on the truck. It will save you a ton of money. I done a few oversize my self and that's what I wound up doing.
