I’m watching this 3 years later and it’s crazy how these animals make it priority to get along when babies are involved. This is a Duck and a Turkey Co.parenting and all are happy. Some humans cannot even do this. Great video. The babies are precious ❤️
It kind of reminds me of female cats; if two females who get along drop a litter at around the same time, they'll let the kittens mix, and take turns babysitting. :) Cooperative rearing is so awesome
I have watched the other videos of the eggs hatching and then when they were put in same area and then when they all came together, and all I say is ....how great to watch this simple but important aspect of life. Thank you for taking the extra time to film this funny family. You have a unique outlook on how fun nature can be and even in the simplest forms. Again, thank you.
What a dynamic combination with the Female turkey and Mother duck.😀 Your ducklings look great and I'm glad they have extra love and help with the turkey being there.❤
When I first saw a muscovy drake and duck, it was at my Nana's house, and what bugged me about this breed, they're so silent! No comparison to peking ducks,....beautiful babies, 1 week old, they've grown plenty,....two beautiful Momma's dedicated to raising and protecting their babies! :)
They are adorable. I like how momma duck and momma turkey are working together to raise the whole lot of them. Has there ever been a pair that so cooperatively raised a batch like this before? Thanks for sharing that cuteness with us.
Very interesting, I so lovely to watch. I have seen your other videos on turkeys and chickens raising ducks. Could you make a follow up video on what happens to them as they grow. Do they continue to identify with their mothers when they are older or do they split off and go their own way.
If you don't want to lose small duxks.chckens, bury in the ground metal fence. On whole length of the building where you hold the animals, so the rodents will not dig through.
People, there are snakes , I have lost a few eggs to snakes but no birds, there are small hawks but never had any issues, but I know people have taken my chickens before.
