I have the absolute privilege to own the Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS, after 1 year / 10k km on the odometer, it has no doubt been the most exciting experience I've ever had with a daily car!
It's much more than just a car that brings your from A to B; it brings you joy, life time experiences and it's also a loyal friend every enthusiast dreams of.
Absolutely recommend it!

Thanks for this wonderful video. I love your comment at the end about it being a friend and not something that you review. It’s so true. Some cars have soul - 911s for sure. I love that you love the car. I just acquired a Targa 4s - 992. It arrives in a week. I feel even better about the purchase after watching this. Have a great day!

@@Albertandcars it’s silver with full Bordeaux red interior. Dash, doors, carpet, seats, roof - all red. The contrast gives it a really nice vintage look. PDK, not manual. Please keep making videos. They’re awesome.

@@jagal20 omg I work at St. Catharines, but I drive around GTA all the time! There’s usually a season opener Porsche and coffee in Oakville, and then there’s random meet ups every other weekend. Looking forward to meeting you in person soon!

March 2024 is the anticipated announcement. My dealer rep says my order will likely go out in September for a December or January delivery. I am waiting for the PCCB option to return.

Love the video and the production! may i ask from where you got the front registration plate holder? very creative, and is it practical and have no issue since you used it?

Thanks for your comment, really appreciate it! Good question! The plate holder was from Amazon, and there’s a few different options available. I opt for the slanted downwards one, as it seems to look the best. It has been close to 2 years of having that, and it’s been no issues at all. It has been through road trips, track days, numerous power washes, no issues at all! Don’t forget to like and subscribe to my RU-vid channel!

Thanks for reaching out! Without me test driving the New T-Hybrid 911, I really can’t 1000% say that I feel bad, but I’m sure I might change my mind if I test drive the car. A huge factor for me is manual transmission, the Porsche 992.1 Targa4GTS is mainly a DD for me, I might occasionally bring it to the track, but 0-100 acceleration isn’t what I would require from my car everyday. It’s the joy I get while cruising with my family with the top down, and having the manual transmission is the main reason why I bought this car. If the 992.2 T-Hybrid comes with manual transmission, that would be a different story, but by then the price of the car would be so much, that maybe buying a 992.1 GT3 would be a better choice. Love the content. But are you forgetting about the turbo and turbo s, as top 911 trims. Unless I missed something and you mentioned the gts as top “base carrera” trims.

Thanks for your comment! And yes you are totally correct, I might have forgotten to add top trim for manual is GTS. Turbo and Turbo S only comes with PDK.

@@Albertandcars your point makes total sense if you’re talking about manuals, well, now we have the sport classic though. Which is essentially unobtainable. I actually had a gt3 allocation, but the dealer ended up giving it back to the person in front of me, so your content has me back on the hunt, but this time perhaps for a 4GTS.

I would love to test drive a 992 GT3, but I still think the TargaGTS suits my needs as there’s backseats and there’s the open top option as well. You always want what you can’t get, am I right? Haha I’m confident you would love the 4GTS as well, it’s so everyday useable and the acceleration is surprisingly good and similar to NA.

@@Albertandcars I presently have a 2024 BMW M4 Competition xDrive, on paper, this and the 4GTS are pretty even, so, I am hoping the 4GTS isn't too similar.

@@jaywalker4206 I’ve driven the M4 before, I would say the M4 has slight more initial torque, but the 4GTS would have more gradual acceleration. 4GTS will have more grip, and feel more agile. The car feels more balanced and the steering feeling is next level. 👌🏼
