Man, Porsche really needs to make MORE of these models. Macan, Cheyenne & Panamera get all the dealership space & attention, but Targas would sell SO fast if more people knew about them.
@@gabrielneto2430no, the targas are just so hard to get. The dealership markups are insane for a targa. They are super collectable and rare. Compared to the cabriolet Carrera
Great review. You break it down a differently than other reviewers. I like how you utilize the throttle and sound while driving instead of just driving along like many other reviewers.
Great review and I appreciate so many detailed views! The stance from the side looks amazing considering the Targa doesn't have the 10mm lower stance so I'm that much more hyped for my GTS coupe delivery coming soon in May!
@@DiaperSNiFFER Where did I say that? I never said anything remotely close to that.. 0-60 doesn’t really matter. The 4S is 0.1 seconds quicker to 60 than the S, yet the S would easily walk it in a race. A GTS traps 3mph faster than the S in the quarter mile, 6-7mph faster than the 4S. If two 911’s with the same options (one being an S and the other a 4S), the S would win in a quarter mile race. You can also get a 4 GTS, but it’s not available to buy just yet. Technically you can option an S to have almost everything the GTS, it just wouldn’t be worth it since the GTS would cost less and still make more power. Point is that a 4S doesn’t perform as well as a GTS. I would take a normal S over a 4S, it drives better without the weight on the front axle and the power going there too.
BTW targa gts doesn’t get any turbo s chassis like the coupe. Targa has suspension tuning from Carrera S. You are giving up a lot just to have that glass lol
I pick up a lot of chicks and head turners with my 2023 Targa !! Even twelve yr olds freak out when they see me and use their phones to video me coming down the street . So fun , so unique , so unbelievably engineered
Love you reviews, camera coverage and meaningful narration. Don't laugh, but you please do a review of the Mazda CX-5 Turbo for the less wealthier among your fans.
Miles a classic porsche salesman, listen to his words: fantastic, love it, appreciate it, thrilling, etc. No objective honest review all about the sales pitch.
As I said in the video, there will be haters, but after driving ALL the performance cars I have, I know when something is engineered with precision. Let me know when you've driven the new GTS to compare notes.
Hi Miles,😀 thanks for nice description about this amazing car😀🇩🇪 can you review 911 Turbo s too for your next review?? It's one of the cars that I want to see
Targa is known to make a lot of wind noise/buffeting with the top off. This can be very annoying. It also makes squeeky noise when the top is closed. People need to know about this before buying.
love the "real" way you reviewed this car. I am on the fence between this car and a GTS coupe. The noise issue when the top is down is concerning to me. Any additional comments regarding your experience with that would be helpful!
Miles you have the best vids bro !! I hope u don’t mind me reacting to them , I definitely try to give you all your credit . Best POV’s on RU-vid can’t wait till you get another hellcat to POV .
Great video..i noticed that you had the friver's window down a small amount..did you have issues with "wind thud? You know that continual thudding sound?
Beautiful. I can hear quite a lot of wind buffering though at drive speed. Is that irritating? I have a new 911S 992. It’s superb. U lost me when picking the Audi over the Porsche.
SUMMARY: If you want a convenience of a coupe but with never ending and annoying vacuum cleaner noise in the background, Porsche has a match for you! :)
He didn't get the option and if u think u can get a brand new targa or even a used 992 targa gts ur in for another thing coming. After dealership markups and ur spec with add ons. Custom paint etc.. it'll be 210k easy
Sorry, that's incorrect. Porsche is pronounced in the same was as the founder Ferdinand Porsche said his last name. You can't exactly tell someone how to pronounce their own name.
