that's great. I just modified my AP2 to full type s kit + mugen mf10 ext and header. Still on the fence about Ohlins, waiting for your review. Great review btw
@@XRX_HK is not that popular, you can go S2ki.com I would choose Ohlins, lots of great comment. And u mention multiple times you dont like harsh ride, I think Ohlins is better suited
Seems like the reason why Honda's offset is so minimal is that it allows the driver to add wider tires, but not adding extra cost to the msrp. Which I think is acceptable.
You should leave it all original. To make it less hard, you should change the tires (it has a huge effect, especially when tires are old it hardens like wood). I just changed to day my 4 Brigestone RE050A tyres (225 40 18) on my 100% stock FN2 WCE (WCE has original suspensions harder than the classic FN2 and it’s really hard. The manufacturing date of my replaced Brigestone rear tires is 2010) to Michelin pilot sport cup 2 (225 40 18) which are considered less hard than the Brigestone or the Yokohama. I find that the car is a little bit more flexible. On the other hand there is no tire offset to protect the wheel contrary to the RE070 and RE071R. I wanted to order RE0171R but it was necessary to bring them from Japan or the USA and I had no time to wait and not want to pay the European customs taxes. Or chosen an other daily car and keep the Mugen RR for weekend.
after 100 kilometers in mountain, I see that the grip is very high it is incredible. There is 30 to 50% more grip compared to touring tires. But the tires look very fragile, a lot of small pebbles stick in the gum and make holes.
