I like the basics. All the new extra gadgets is something that's going to break. You can always swap out the stock oil pump for a hellcat oil pump for around $200. Your cam and lifters will thank you for it
I'm looking to get a pursuit. Love the look of the newer charger. Love the fact that it is awd and has the hemi. I already own a 06 Daytona Charger Top Banana Charger tuned by diablo. Love the Charger. Great video.
Good vid younger brother! *you can drive without MDS activating..... put into drive, push column shifter button (on end of shifter) IN once, then manual (electronically/manually shifts to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th and then backwards down to 1st again as well) use the long tab button (located on top of the column shifter lever towards the end) to put car into 5th gear - you can now drive it in manual 5th and the MDS will NOT turn on, engine will run on 8 cylinders even at cruising speed :)
I really like the video and I really like the rims. They are really cool but I’d have to say when you said or-a-gon i was shocked then when you hit me with the “vin-yull” i about lost it 😂😂
thanks for this video! getting my first car soon hopefully, was tryna decide between this or a lexus (GS 350). was a bit put off by the shifter ngl i hate those personally, and idk why they dont got hood scoops stock, you would think with how much its on they would want air flow..
I bought a 2012 Charger with the 5.7 engine 6 months ago 🤣🤣. I had to replace the strut tensioners, transmission pan, outer tie rods and the radiator. I also had to put in a new center console. Now it runs perfectly, i straight piped it and was amazed at how good it sounds. So far the car has been a great daily for me. I plan on keeping it for the next few years.
I just brought 2014 Dodge Charger Pursuit with 80k in March I love it so far but I know I'm going to have to keep up on the maintence and work on it. I definitely want some new wheels and my body repainted cause it look like it been through so stuff lol
Yep years ago I bought a Crown Vic that was a family friend.. he was a captain of a small county sheriff dept.. you're right.. I could drive in the left lane and nobody would pass me lol..
Good thing about base model you can add the things you want. Just add any of the hardware from 300's Chargers or Challenger and a simple flashing the module fully customizable. If those seats you installed are heated you can use that function.
It’s funny it’s originally Marion County Sheriff car and I live in Marion county. I can tell you it probably has tons of highway hours since it was a traffic unit but cleaned her up made her look good. Love the car bro. Im thinking of picking one up here soon but I’m thinking of getting the Awd version. (Also not to critique to much but you pronounce Oregon wrong. It’s basically Or-ow-gin)
Awesome video man I’m in Wisconsin too and have been looking to get a 2019 pursuit is there any tips for where to look you said you found a good county did you have to ship the car?
I am from the G8 / PPV crowd, and an engine and transmission tune from a reputable tuner really wakes up the LS motors...I am sure it is the same for the Mopar crowd.
Issue with most mopar is the amount of money you need to invest into the internals to actually push any big power for example the Scat’s, if you want to add anything more than 10 psi of boost you gonna need to replace most your internals same goes for if you want more raw horsepower the engines in modern mopar on average are made just well enough to work from factory…thats it. To make a baseline charger with a Scat Pack(which is what the pursuit has) fast you are honestly looking at a solid investment for anything over 450hp in any form of reliability. Its different with the Hellcats cause they need to be designed for the massive power they put out at a baseline not so much the case for scat and below.
@@tankiller9638 sounds to me you underestimate the strength of the internals and blocks. I’ve seen guys toss Pro chargers on bone stock 5.7’s with injectors and HC pump make well over 550. Seen guys on stock internals “gapped rings” push beyond 800. So idk yea they’re more pricey but fairly strong units. Coming from a Chevy guy. Ford on the other hand can kick rocks with they’re new junk. Anything over 2016 I won’t even touch.
