Sounds like it’s been a good unit for you. Scuffs and scrapes never happen to equipment that isn’t being used. It’s part of working with equipment. Think of them as character marks
That's great that you are having no issues with your digger and you certainly get a variety of tasks to try it out on. Is it normal to have that much snow this late in the season? I know what you mean about about the rocks flipping a track off, bit of a pain but more just a nuisance than anything. Hope you found your tape measure after you threw it away. cheers.
The last couple of years in this area the snow was all gone by middle of March, but this year for this area what we are experiencing is normal. We've been spoiled. I'm roughly 3.5 hours north east of Toronto. In Renfrew County. I only buy cheap tape measures. 🤭
Yes definitely would be good to have some teeth on that thumb attachment. That machine looks quite impressive. Just wondering if you’ll be able to get parts for it down the road. I had a bad experience with a large Harbor Freight generator & they said parts where obsolete & it was only 3 years old. Damn shame as it ran great till it broke 😢
I'm considering one and am curious of what brand/type of hydro pump and travel motors they used, and if the controls for aux hydro and blade are only on the floor pedals? Also the style of display used? Do you know of a manual or a more in depth machine diagram/spec sheet? They would really benefit from a decent English overview and explanation of functions and specs etc. There just isn't much info forthcoming it seems.
Hi, I live in Ontario and I’m thinking of buying a machine through Alibaba, can you give any advice or suggestions that you might have after going through the experience yourself?
Kubota engine and pretty basic pump. Only pain my buddy has come across is the British pipe thread used on all the fittings. Have to buy $12-$15 worth of adapters to make farm and home store hoses work.
Using Alibaba how easy was the process? Did you keep having to shell out for expiditers, delivery fees, dockage, etc. etc. or was it a one stop shop with one payment and deal done?
great narative on these. I think they are probably good machines but many are affraid of them. on the grapple, it would be a bad idea to create grabbing points by removing material. you'd be far better off by bolting another piece of metal along the thumb to create points.
I think the resale is were these are a bad idea but yes great machines otherwise. I'm probably going to weld something on to the thumb and also ad some cross brracing near the end of the claw also since the video i bent a claw pretty good.
I’m looking at the lt1020 myself. Nervous about the quality control coming out of the factory. As well as the entire shopping process. The sales reps seem incredibly helpful. Do they remain helpful after purchase?
Oh yes great with letting know progress with the shipping and all that. After I've received it I really haven't been in need to talk with them cause I have had no issues. They do send me emails with offerings for other equipment like skid steers and such. If I need anything else I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them. There really is a big difference in quality between different Chinese manufacturers that I've seen on RU-vid like thin steel and shitty welds so they all aren't the same.
@@doylemaintenance thanks , i just bought one and then i start seeing videos on this heat problem , shit my one is with cabin , do u think is worth to get the ac ?
Great videos and work being done with machine. I am looking at a LTMG 3.5 ton machine - I'm on the east coast (New Brunswick) and looking to replace a much older 3.5t bobcat mini in an economical way. Using it much the same way as you - was looking at this manufacturer - heard you say you got a rotating bucket - is that correct? Have any videos of its use or experience with it? I was thinking of that for in the woods and placing rocks as well. Any issues with customs? I was a little worried about EPA emissions stuff, etc. Did you get delivered right to your door and was that handled all by LTMG? So many questions 🙂
I think most of your questions can be answered here. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bA7ClkShshQ.html but contact the company, I dealt with them through email during the whole process. Very easy.
Just getting the heavy work done, ilk come back later and clear the stumps. At the moment the black flies have started and I'm not going back there now. After black flies then dear flies come.
So I am going to go ahead and order mine! Did I hear you say you paid $25k? I am assuming that is with shipping? Makes me nervous to be honest on what fees I may be overlooking outside of duties and taxes. Mine with shipping and the upgraded Kubota 902 engine and 4 attachments is $10,638. I am wondering now how much I’ll have to pay when it arrives here in Port of Los Angeles.
That's Canadian $. Plus I bought mine during the shipping shortage of covid, my shipping was 5000 u.s. on top of the 13000 u,s,. mine shipped to Vancouver then shipped again to Toronto. A lot further.
@@doylemaintenance oh gotcha!! That makes sense. You’ve been so helpful. Thank you! LTMG should be sending you some free attachments for all the business you’ve earned them 😎😁
Not trying to be rude but you have no clue. The movements you make with your machine make no sense. I would suggest not filming anymore lol. Nice machine though just needs a different owner
Maybe a little more work with the chain saw to clean things up (brush, small branches on the tree trunks, which could be piled and burned) and cut the logs in to more manageable sizes for this Excavator would make things easier for you. Glad your enjoying it and I applaud your keeping up with the maintenance.
@@doylemaintenance wouldn't it be easier to just answer? watched that video and the closest you come to saying how much it cost is saying you got it into canada for "under 27" and shipping was 5 grand. is that 32 grand? 7700 bucks? the only thing anyone wants to know and you make them watch 3 videos to leave them guessing 🤡
@@icandothatmatt436 if I answered every question on here I'd get nothing done. Have you subscribed??? It was 13500 u.s. for machine and 4850 us for shipping to a depot that was 4 hours away and I went to pick it up. I'm pretty sure I covered it in a couple videos.
