I just got the momentum 4. I just wanted to know how is your replacement headset doing 5 months later. Would your recommend a headband cover? I had a headband cover on my xb900n but putting them on the Momentum 4 put alot of pressure on the back porting of the earcups where my glass rest. Perhaps a cloth cover?
They are as good as brand new. No need for headband cover, just keep them in the case/on table when they're not in use and when travelling. They will be fine.
Hello, thank you for your honest review ! I've read many people complaining about Momemtum 4 not being loud enough. As someone who often listen to max volume on my Sony XM3 I'm worried about that. Would you say they are less loud than Sony or Bose headphones ?
Hello the maximum volume I use on headphones is 60%. I find that all headphones are too loud at and beyond that threshold. I'm not conversant in this area.
Don't believe no issues. They have too many bugs... touch controls for anc don't work, random bluetooth disconnections, and anc control on the app has an issue on the ambient end where you have to drag cursor all the way to the anc end and back to the ambient end for it to work properly. You'll think it's working fine but all of a sudden you can barely hear sound coming in.. until you do what I just stated above. I love the sub bass and the sound stage imaging of these. But just too many issues!
@@Pplantsht thanks for sharing your experience! In fact, I've purchased M4 (Copper Edition) last week and have been testing them since then. With all smarts and touches enabled, no issues whatsoever. I've always tried to avoid these features in products, but in this very my case I must admit - to my big surprise everything works flawlessly. Maybe it's because of the Copper revision, idk.
would you recommend bringing them to the gym ? i am a big music person and i like having sound quality when listening to some songs but i was questionning them if they are waterproof or could be a problem bringing them to the gym...
If you're only lifting and basic exercises I don't see problem. If you're moving about and sweating, there is no reason to use headphones when there are good sounding comfortable earbuds you can use. Headphones will just cause alot of sweating. I had never damaged headphones by sweat the days I used them for sport, they'll only get dirty and uncomfortable to handle with sweat.
Tell Me the final verdict that if there are some serious bugs or issues still after the firmware updates or I can buy it without any thought in my mind,I have seen 100s or reviews and find out that these are better in multiple segments from its competitors and then decided to get these but some hearings of the bugs in these do let Me step back from getting these,should I buy it without tension or should I get any other please tell me!!!

Each brand has a distinct sound signature. Among what I've tested, Sony xm4 is a good alternative. Sounds good, slightly more ANC, and less bass. Anyhow, I'm not experiencing any bug with this one. The app takes few seconds to connect, but once connected it's alot better than the sony app.
I think a lot of the bugs have been ironed out in firmware updates. I’m totally blind and unlike competing brands they did not bother to make the EQ accessible but I’m guessing you don’t have that problem.
Hey, it's very random. But I don't really like the sound quality of most gaming headsets. If i buy this momentum 4, can i use it for gaminng on pc? I play valorant and cs2. Will i experience any delay?
the xm5 has better ANC and mic but m4 has better sound quality and battery life .. choose what you prefer .. personally i prefer the sound quality and the comfort all other thing is not dealbreaker for me.
Headphones are never consistent in noisy environments, it depends on the setting, sometimes i have to speak louder sometimes I'm perfectly clear with noises around. It's in your best interest to switch to your phone. High pitch sounds partially remain.
Hii iam currently very confused between sony xm4 and sennheiser momentum 4 i want to buy an all rounder headphones one which i can use on my ps5, ipad pro, iphone 15 pro and my oled tv. I mainly play games like l, red dead redemption 2, and sometimes warzone mostly i play single player games and in terms of music I really listen many different types of music like all of the time by jungle ,soundtracks of games etc. like i listen to many different types of music plus i also watch a lot of webseries so l really want to buy an all rounder that is durable and perfect for everything . Here in my country Price wise sony xm4 is very less it's about 18 thousand rupees and momentum 4 is 25 thousand and i want to buy headphones for a long term so whats your opinion on this pls explain . And is worth to more for sennheiser s ?
The xm4 is very good headphone. If you want to save money you can buy xm4. If you not worried about money get the momentum 4. Whichever you get is good.

Mo4 better. The biggest difference is in comfort and ANC, noticeable difference in sound quality but the xb900 doesn't sound bad at all. The biggest draw backs of xb900 is lack of ANC and comfort.

M4 or xb900? None of them is supposed to make horrible noise, at least at normal volumes (20 to 65%). So maybe you're getting that horrible noise because you put very loud volume

i just got them today .. they’re great tbh .. but the firmware it is belong to september 2022 should i upgrade it .. did the the sennheiser increqse or decrease the aound or make it bad .. coz i heard something like that on reddit .. qm looking for your answer thanks man i’ve the firmware 2.9.18 thanks
With the newest firmware you will have ability to tweak the sound more, you no will not get that 30 second power on glitch when you switch it on while wearing it. (maybe this glitch was only related to the early units). The biggest improvement is that the headphone connects to the app very quickly now.

Did you get them wet? I was oh no two months ago it's because i was in a hurry and got them wet usually the outside of the headphone probably because it has touch inputs. It worked normally day later. If it's the battery probably the battery faulty
I have brought recently senheiser momentum 4 headphones in copper edition it is 15min or 30 min after while listening or talking on the calls the bluetooth is disconnecting and when i m not using my headphones if i keep a side for few min with 70-80% volume the sound is coming outside. Do you have any idea how to resolve this issue? Is it is a really problem with these headphones. Please give me your feedback.
Mine lags or paused as if I lost my connection I had to rewind only to find there is no lag or paused on tracks or while watching RU-vid videos God I’m frustrated I had reset it more than 10 times Still has same issue I’m thinking of returning it
How in the world are you calling these neutral; That sub bass is anything but neutral, mids are scooped out some although not as much as I’ve seen other places. I’m impressed they got as close to neutral as they did with this bass but come on.
It's neutral but on the bassy side of neutral. Anyhow you're right. I tested the airpod max and I now understand why some would say this is not neutral by default.
