I don't know about you folks, but the opening of Alien is always very relaxing...the crew asleep in the freezers, the ship humming along, MU-TH-UR checking out the ship systems, scanning the radio spectrum for anomalies in the galactic noise level.
Just imagine that your sitting here doing whatever you do in this room looking out at the beautiful view of the galaxy going past you, It doesn't get any better than this.
@@Moodboard39 You reminded me of a scene in Babylon 5. Two characters were traveling from the station to Mars, and in trying to start a conversation one character said "All of this technology and it still takes forever to get anywhere." Are we there yet?
@spaceshuttletopluton Vielleicht jemand es früher erfinden kann, es gibt viele Leute die auf solche Dinge arbeiten. Aber am Ende, können wir nur hoffen. :)
@UniverseRelaxing I absolutely Love your amazing content . Not only is is so wonderfully Soothing , relaxing , it certainly takes me on a phenomenal journey into the stunningly beautiful cosmos , upon the most exquisite space ship , I'm in heaven ! Flying in space is always depicted like this, with those white dots (supposed to be stars) flashing by. If they were really stars they would be so big it would be impossible to have so many so near to each other and also impossible to fly by them so fast.
That's different and awesome too. So glad it doesn't headline with 'Heal your Shakras' or 'Binaural Bandwith to Inspire & Break free' or 'Proven to Sharpen Your Mind'. You've just out put it out there for others to decipher or not. Keeping it simple works for someone as stupid as me. Oh crap, I now need some 'Vertical Trizan Tarza 4ji of Megahurtz' to deal with my lack of self-esteem...
I once asked an astronaut what it was like to sleep in microgravity. He said that it was great, once you get used to it, but no fun if you have reflux problems.
It is like sleeping while free falling without opening a parachute. And without the wind. An orbit is about free falling around Earth or a celestial body.
@@josepablolunasanchez1283 there's one other thing that makes true microgravity unique, and that's the feeling of nothing pulling on your body. You can free fall, or float in the pool, but gravity is always pulling on you. The astronaut I spoke with also told me that everyone grows about two inches the first 2 days on orbit.
"Lorsque je regardais vers autre part que vers la Terre, je ne voyais que la mort" disait un type qui est allé dans l'espace. En fait une fois dans l'espace autours de nous tout est noir. Il n'y a pas de petit points blancs qui defilent. Juste le noir obscur silence.
I know this is far from relaxing but a “Shut up Wesley!” wouldn’t go amiss. (Sorry couldn’t resist.) 🤭 Along with everyone else, thank you from the bottom of my sc-fi loving heart. New subscriber from me today. 🙌💯
"Space... the final frontier. These are the... **yawns** voyages... of the... Starship... **yawns** Enterprise. Its fhave... yeeer misshhhn.... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ."
There are a myriad of pumps used for the various systems. They contribute to the background noise level. The biggest noise source is the HVAC system, constantly circulating clean air throughout the ship. That's a noise that you don't mind hearing. 18 years ago my family was on a cruise ship and I woke up when they shut down the engines in the middle of the night. It got deathly quiet.
I accidentally paused this at the start, and figured it was a hyper realistic video with zero noise because of space, and very little movement. Oops. Took me a solid 5 minutes to realize I had it paused
There is a speed where the widely scattered atoms and molecules that make up interstellar space begin to act like an atmosphere. Once you are going that fast a microphone will pick up the sound of the interstellar "wind" passing by.
The main sound that you're hearing is that of the life support system. Additional noises come from various pumps like coolant, wastewater control, and freshwater treatment.
I’m sure if you look hard enough it almost looks like the kitchen space was PART OF the window at one point and it sets itself out for use when needed. Look at the top right corner of the window, and the shelf across from it. Similar in shape, but rotated Maybe not an exact fit, but it’s a nifty idea for rooms in a space ship. Self setting, self cleaning upping. Imagine your couch just mounts itself back INTO the wall for decorative function if you Tetris it into the wall aesthetically. when in use and functional it slides out of the wall each individual piece and assembles on their “Blocked-Out Stations for common mass assembly of sayyyyy Space Cruisers
I think this took an inspiration from the videogame Warframe. There's a spaceship there called Railjack, it has windows like this all over the ship. Who knows, in the future they might have windows like this in spaceships. Anything is possible with technology, maybe they will get some new materials from another planet :)
