ERROR: The equation for reduced mass as shown as an image on the slide is incorrect, but the alternate expression that I write in blue around 3:50 is correct.
Naturally, this led to an incorrect calculation of reduced mass in the HCl example (the correct value is the reciprocal of the one shown). Thankfully, the correct value is so close to 1 that the calculated frequency is hardly affected at all by the mistake.
